Enjoy the privacy of your own vacation cottage. A well designed interior offers great comfort for the entire family, and just steps away from the beach and Night Heron Park.

This cottage will make you feel right at home. What a great place to relax for the week. Enjoy sitting on the front porch with a book or relax on the screened in porch in the back. Plenty of bike/jogging trails, golf, tennis, swimming, sunbathing and all the activities that Night Heron Park has to offer.

The front bedroom has a queen bed and the back bedroom has two twin beds, they share a bathroom, the master bedroom has a king size bed, full bathroom and has a porch on the back.

We also provide a list of phone numbers which includes restaurants , shopping, golf and bike rental information.

Two miles from the security gate you will find Freshfields Village, grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

Why The Owner chose Kiawah Island

Family owned cottage. We love to go out to Kiawah Island to our Cottage. Although we only live 30 minutes away it is like going to a far away destination. We love the beach,bike trails, jogging trails, kayaking,golf and all the night heron park activities for our children. Great week or weekend getaway. Enjoy spending the day on the beach walking or reading a book. Great family vacation, guys weekend away for golf, ladies weekend away to relax and get pampered.

Close to downtown Charleston our beautiful city with so much history.

Located directly across from Night Heron Park which has many activities during the week, Nature center, Kamp Kiawah, Soccer fields, basketball courts and much more. Short walk to the beach. Bike trails, jogging trails, golf and tennis all wrapped up on this beautiful island.

Perfect vacation cottage!

This was our first trip to Kiawah, and our family (2 kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents) really enjoyed this cottage. It was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The location was convenient - easy walking to the nature center (5-10 minutes) or the beach (10-15 minutes), and easy bike-riding distance to many of the other island amenities. The kitchen was larger than it appears in the pictures and was very well stocked with plates/glasses/cookware/tools, as well as condiments/spices/little things that might have been left behind at home. There were loads of books, games, movies, and beach toys for the kids. The owners were extremely friendly, prompt with communication, and helpful in offering suggestions for our time on the island. We will certainly return to this cottage on our next trip to Kiawah!

This cottage is precious. We have rented using VRBO many times (several times in Europe and the U.S.) and this was the cleanest, best-kept and most charming place we've rented. The situation of the cottage gives you the feel of privacy. While the walk to the beach is very plesant, it does take about 6-8 minutes, but if you are luggin a lot of stuff you can drive to the Night Heron Park parking lot and be closer to the beach access. Proximity to Night Heron Park is fabulous for families with young kids. We would definitely rent here again.

Amazing Cottage

We had such a great time staying at your place. Thank you so much. Your place was awesome, CLEAN, well maintained, and so convenient. I am a chef and found everything that I needed in your kitchen for meals and snacks. We so appreciated you letting us borrow your bikes, boogie boards and beach chairs. It was so nice to travel so far but have all of the little things that make spending a day at the beach more comfortable. It was so easy to get back to the house from the beach that I wold run home and make a quick lunch to bring back to everyone.

We had some rainy days and the kids loved all the toys and books in the closet. These kept them occupied for hours. Having Night Heron Park and the Nature Center right across the street was a nice convenience.Thank you again for everything. We had a truly amazing vacation and would definitely stay at your cottage again and I would recommend it to all of my friends.
