Great for a family vacation

We stayed at the condo with our 3 children. The views from the window and beachfront location are spectacular. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to be comfortable. The beach on Simpson Bay was nice - the water was quite calm, and there were always plenty of palapas and lounge chairs available. The pool had a swim-up bar with a restaurant attached. Everything that we needed was located close by - the restaurants were across the street, and a good supermarket was just a 5 minute walk away. The resort is right beside the drawbridge entrance to Simpson Bay lagoon, so you can watch the procession of sailboats and yachts sailing in and out from the condo. The master bedroom and living room have views of the sea, while the guest bedroom has a view of the lagoon and mountains. The kitchen was excellent and well-stocked, and we appreciated the little extras, such as hotel-style toiletries in the bathrooms. Scott was extremely helpful, spoke with us by phone at length and emailed us a comprehensive guide to the resort and to St. Maarten prior to our arrival. As observant Jews, we were also pleased to discover that there was a Chabad synagogue just a few minutes walk away, which offers Friday night dinners and supplies kosher meat.
