Take a walk in the clouds in this luxurious 3,000 sq, ft.mountain home with expansive views of Lake Chatuge and 300 degrees of mountain scenery. Back porch overlooks the Ridges Resort and Lake Chatuge and our own firepit .Waterfalls and great hiking trails surround are location with unbelievable views of the Smokies. Being centrally located we are only 10 minutes from Hiawassee and 20 minutes from Murphy. Weekly entertainment is provided at the Georgia State Fairgrounds or Funland (go-cart racing, putt-putt) only 12 minutes away. Bumper pool table and New Wii game are provided for those relaxing days at home. If your up for adventure 5 rafting outfitters are within 45-60 minutes from our haven. Scenic road trips to each of these are a wonder in themselves. Going through the beautiful Tusquitte Valley and up and over the state forest road(gravel)to the gorge of Nantahala, passing by waterfalls and flyfishing holes makes for one of the many exciting adventures. Canoe on site .

My sisters and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable vacation in this beautiful home. The views are spectacular and the owners were so kind and accommodating. This home more than met our expectations...it is really so lovely you wish you could stay forever. I would go back without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone who seeks a lovely place to stay while surveying God's beautiful creation and enjoying myriad fun and exciting things to do.

I took my husband to WNC as a surprise gift for his 50th birthday as he is a nature lover and after seeing the internet pictures of Mike's house rental and the mountains I thought"what a pretty home". Well, after being there for 6 days I can now say that "Pretty" is a huge understatement. There are simply no words to describe the beauty of this place, from Mike's impecable and well appointed home to the majestic views of the mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls. There is so much to see and do if you are an active person, if not, don't worry, once you step out to Mike's back porch, just grab a good book, your favourite drink and lay back waching the spectacular mountain and lake views, the hummingbirds come by for food and all the sounds of nature you can imagine, I promise you will not want to leave. The owner, Mike couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, just a real pleasure to work with. I am so thankful to you Mike for making this trip possible, for sharing this piece of heaven that is your home. We will most certainly come back for more. Best Vacation in a Long Time!!!

We have a family of five with two teenage boys, and we had the time of our lives this past week! When you first read the description for this house and look at the pictures you almost feel like it's too good to be true, but then you actually get there and you see that the pictures can't even do it justice! We spent the week enjoying the incredible view, watching movies at night, playing the many games available in the house (Boulderdash is the best!), go-karting, white water rafting, hiking,swimming, and most of all just relaxing and enjoying our time together in the incredible spot.

Mike and his wife were beyond hosspitable. We have never encountered more friendly people in our long history of vacation rentals. They genuinely cared about us having a great time and wen well out of their way to make sure that happened. Even the neighbors were welcoming! Bottum line is we couldn't have asked for a better home to spend our vacation in, and we are all looking forward to the next time we can get back down there!

Mom and I have been renting in this area for the past nine years and this is by far the best. The pictures do not do the house and views justice. The house is beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. The daytime views of the mountains and lake are breathtaking. The nighttime view of the twinkling lights is enchanting. The owners are exceptional - very gracious and thoughtful. They go beyond the normal to make your stay pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing. Even after five weeks, it is very hard to leave! Mike and Janice - Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

My wife Joan and I found a beautiful home with a view that rivals the Alps. We had a wonderful time in July and are returning in August. After a day of fun it is so nice to come back to peace and privacy. One afternoon was spent at the Hayesville Craft Festival in the Square, where we met some very friendly people selling their excellent work. We were entertained by the cloggers and musicians from the John C. Campbell Folk School and we loved that! As this was our first visit to this area we did a lot of exploring. Thank you Janice and Mike.
