SPECTACULAR LAKE TRAVIS VIEW!

This is a fantastic family vacation home. My husband and I and our four older children really enjoyed the layout of the home. The lower level has the two bedrooms and bath and is perfect for those who want to stay up late and not disturb others. The balcony views are awesome!! We enjoyed our evenings grilling on the BBQ pit and enjoying nature and the wildlife. Bring deer corn for the feeder and watch as they come to feed in the evening. Very peacful and quiet, perfect for getting back to meaningful family time. Great adventures nearby like Krause Springs, Longhorn Caverns, paddle boats and canoes at Inks Lake. For all this vacation home offers, it's a real deal!!

Our stay in Spicewood, Central Texas, was wonderful. The unit was well stocked, clean and private. The area is not well traveled so is peaceful and we enjoyed the Texas Wildlife and views of Lake Travis. It is a cute and rustic unit and has a real Hill country feel. Lots of cedar trim, well decorated and plenty of character.

We recently spent the week of New Years 2013 in the Texas Hill Country and had a remarkable time enjoying the quiet setting of this hilltop retreat! The house is situated for views of Lake Travis and the surrounding countryside! Our morning and evening enjoyment was feeding the many deer that come onto the property. While sitting on the balcony enjoying our morning coffee we felt like we were in the treetops watching the many species of birds. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living area was cozy and warm with a wood burning fireplace, which we enjoyed since the weather was cool. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fully appointed and met our needs beautifully. We also enjoyed spending time in Fredericksburg shopping and having nice dinners in Kingsland and climbing Enchanted Rock. The area around the house is pleasant for walking and enjoying the deer and other wildlife. The owner was very helpful and ensured that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this Hill Top retreat. If you want to feed the deer, bring a bag of deer corn! They were almost eating out of my hand.
