Harwich - Harwichport Vacation Rental house

We had a great week-long summer vacation in this lovely 3-bedroom ranch. The house and grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the inside is nicely decorated, down to the art work on the walls. The kitchen is well-equipped with pots and pans, dishes, etc., so we could make our own meals, although there are plenty of places a short drive away if you want to eat out.

Bucks Pond is truly just a couple of minutes walk away. Nice sandy beach, with both sunny and shady spots; our kids could not get enough time here.

We also enjoyed using the grill and picnic tables in the backyard, and the outdoor shower.

We had friends visit who were renting one town over, and they were impressed with how much nicer our place was than theirs, for the same money.

The owners are well-organized, and have definitely anticipated many questions guests might have. There were great instructions posted in the house about where to put garbage and recycling, information about the community, coolers to bring to the beach, tips about favorite places to eat, and so on.

This is a great place for a family with kids, and it would be ideal for a girlfiends get-away as well.

This home is so charming and absolutely immaculate. The pond and beach are just around the corner and great for little kids. My husband and I enjoyed going there for a late afternoon swim and then enjoying a glass of wine as we watched the sun set. And the ocean is very close as well as the town of Chatham, which has a terrific main street for shopping and hanging out. The rent is very reasonable for this lovely place.

My fiance and I have stayed at this home every August for the past few years. We continue to come back because the home is wonderful!! The area is nice and quiet for us to relax and unwind from the daily stresses of work. The home is warm and inviting and is always kept in great condition. The beach/pond is just a short walk down very safe streets. We have come here alone and with our families and there is plenty of room and activities for everyone. The homeowners are also wonderful and respond immediately to any issues or problems, with as little inconvenience to the renters as possible. I would recommend this home to anyone from young kids to older adults looking for some rest & relaxation. We plan on continuing to make this home our yearly vacation spot for years to come.
