Welcome to our home on Cape San Blas located in the new swim/clubhouse development called SEAGRASS. Want to spend New Years at the beach? You are in luck! If you call to rent anytime after Dec 10th, we are offering 20% off the regular holiday rental rate! Don't miss out on this opportunity! Call ASAP! We are also now renting for SUMMER 2009! And we DO have WIFI internet access! Please refer to the OWNER'S LINK located on this site to see more pictures of the interior! Our home, 'SEAGLASS' is a dream come true for us! When you open the front door, you will think that you have stepped into a Pottery Barn Magazine! It was such FUN to decorate! On the ground floor you will find a private in-law suite, complete with a queen bedroom, full bath and kitchenette. It also has an enclosed double garage. Saturday to Saturday check in during the summer months.

Notes: Our home is located next to the subdivision pool and clubhouse. The neighborhood is very quiet, so this is a PLUS to be so close! Noise is never an issue. This house has HOSPITALITY PLUS! It is FILLED with board games both for young and old ...TWISTER anyone? As well as books for all ages, and enough movies to keep the kids in the bunk room for hours at night! The FIRST FLOOR has two bedrooms, a two story open living room, dining room, and FULLY STOCKED kitchen. The owner loves to cook and has everything you can imagine... including a smoothie machine, and garlic press! There are two bedrooms on this floor. One of the bedrooms has two sets of bunk beds, and the lower bed is actually a full mattress, so this room can sleep up to six happy children! The other bedroom on this floor has a queen bed. The bathroom is off the hallway and services both bedrooms as well as the main floor. The FIRST FLOOR has wrap around porches along three sides. The Gulf faced deck has beautiful European teak furniture, including a 'steamer' chair that you can recline in and watch the sun set! A side deck off the kitchen of the house is screened in.

UPSTAIRS is the Master suite with a King bed and private bath complete with a jacuzzi and separate shower! The walk-in closet is enormous! There is also a wonderful porch off the east and Gulf side of the bedroom with awesome views of the setting sun! You have great views of the Bay from both deck levels also. AND, BEST OF ALL, our home is located a stones throw from the community POOL. You can literally ring the dinner bell to call the troops in for dinner! The board walk to the beach is right next to our house ...it is a PERFECT set-up for a WONDERFUL beach vacation! We even have a beach 'buggy' for you to roll your chairs, blankets, toys and umbrella to the beach in. Another must ... a rolling cooler for your 'beverages'! We hope you will come and visit!

Activities: Outstanding fishing area! The Bay is known for its scallops! Bike riding, St, Joseph State Park (rated #1 beach in the USA in 2002), camping, wind sailing, Did I say SHELLING??? It's also just a great place to chill on the beach! Other activities include: boating, shelling, wildlife viewing, shopping, kayaking, parasailing, and biking.

What a wonderful home!! We stayed in July of 2007 with my family-5 adults and 4 kids! We had the best time at this beautiful house. We loved taking evening walks on the beach to gather shells. We swam in the pool nearly all day with short breaks for lunch!The kids loved the smoothie machine and Grandaddy made them different flavored smoothies every morning. The weather was perfect the entire time-with rain the morning we left. We have been to Cape San Blas 3 times and love the quiet-yummy seafood-and nothing to do but relax! This is by far our favorite house to do all of the above in! Even though it is a very long drive from SC we are planning on making the trip this summer- so save us a week! :)

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. Your home is comfortable and welcoming. The area is perfect: no goofy golf courses, no water parks, no tacky souvenir shops. Just the sky, the sun, the sand, and the water!! Beyond our expectations!

We are considering a return in 2009. Will you have us back??

Our family of four just spent our Spring Break in this wonderful house. We were amazed at the incredible sunsets that were fully visible from several areas of the house and decks. The house was very clean when we arrived and there is plenty of space in this well decorated house. The kitchen is definately well-stocked, just as stated in the house description. The kitchen and dining area are also large enough for everyone to have plenty of space. Our girls loved the swimming pool next door and we liked the ability to watch them at the pool from the deck. We would definately recommend this house and will be staying here again.

Our group of 12 (2 families w/ 4 kids each) had a marvelous stay at SeaGlass the last week of July. This is a gorgeous home, sparkling clean and beautifully furnished. The layout is very nice with ample room for large groups. The views are lovely (great sunsets)and the porches are a special pleasure. The owners have paid great attention to details. They provide beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and a nice cart to roll the items to the beach. There are plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, books, videos, games, cd players,wonderful Whirlpool appliances and a amazing kitchen with literally anything you could ask for to cook, blend boat drinks, etc... The pool is lovely and well maintained (it was closed for 2 days for an inspection- not the owner's fault of course. The beaches show signs Ivan & Dennis, but are still lovely and almost deserted. We found a milion shells! The state park beach just down the road is a must-see! Breathtaking! Bring your bug spray though. One small note~ the bottom floor kitchenete was not quite completed for our stay. It was no problem, but if you are counting on using this feature you might check to be sure the work has been finished. All in all this is an exquisite home at a beautiful place. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who longs to escape the frantic atmosphere of the crowded beaches up the road. Shhhh... don't tell anyone how wonderful Cape San Blas is. Let's keep it to ourselves!!!
