My family stayed here for 1 week. I was worried that we might be bored but there is so much to do in this area. The house is in a great location. Easy drive to crater lake, Ashland & Klamath . We have been on the canoe tour in the upper klamath and rafting the river. We have gone to the lake a few times and of course did the Shakespeare festival. The house has everything you need. It is very quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the deck. The owner was helpful with booking the house and there is a lot of information and activity ideas here at the house. The house is well cared for. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this house.

WONDERFUL!

What a wonderful cozy cabin. VERY clean and comfortable. Perfect place to get away and enjoy nature. Plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking. A quick drive to Lake of the Woods for dinner and drinks. The owner was very accomodating and helpful. We will be planning another weekend get-away to this lovely home again!

This cabin was incredibly perfect! It had everything we needed and more. We were a group of 5 adults and 1 dog and the size of the cabin could not have been more perfect. The owner was amazing to deal with, she informed us of all sorts of things to do in the surrounding area and she even called to make sure we had a safe trip when we arrived! The cabin itself came stocked with lots of fun things to do such as: snow sleds, snow shoes, board games, a nice bbq, outdoor furniture, a nice inside wood stove, and even an amazing bottle of red wine to enjoy! The location of the cabin is perfect, only 45 minutes to Ashland and a little over an hour to Crater Lake. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to stay in Southern Oregon!

Tiny in size, but huge in character!

This place is tiny in size, but you couldn't ask for more in a cabin in the snow. We arrived to find a basketful of baked goodies and bottle of wine to welcome us. With no TV to distract us, we listened to the radio, played lots of board games, baked cookies and played in the snow with the sleds and snowshoes provided. This was a perfect pre-Christmas present for us all. My only word of caution has nothing to do with the cabin itself: Make sure you bring anything you would need from a store: foodstuffs, medicines, etc.. The closest "General Store" at the lake really doesn't have much other than some canned items, milk and maybe eggs; and the holiday hours are short, if it is open at all (call first). Thank you Thimbleberry for such a wonderful stay. We hope to be back again in the future!

Exceptional cabin-in-the-woods experience! Cabin beautifully appointed, designer-decorated and extremely clean. We loved snow-shoeing with the gear made available to us with the rental. We brought our own cross-country skiis, as there are great trails nearby. Of our 3 VRBO experiences, this cabin gets top ratings!
