House Features • 1674 square feet • Master: 1 king platform bed, Jacuzzi tub, and shower Bedroom 2: 1 queen platform bed Bedroom 3: 1 queen platform bed The beds should sleep 6 people comfortably, but I could also provide a queen air mattress upon request. • 37'' plasma HDTV with DVD player • Modern décor and furnishing • Granite counters & custom wood cabinets throughout! Stained concrete, bamboo & travertine floors! • Gorgeous kitchen. Stainless appliances • Dishes, utensils, cookware, detergents, soap • Pet friendly! Fully fenced yard. • Located on a bus line -- no car necessary. • No smoking inside the house. Less then 2 miles from downtown ($5 taxi ride). Just 3 miles from UT and St Edward University campus. 10 blocks from the town lake running trail. Surrounded by many restaurants, coffee houses, art houses, boutiques, and east side lounges/bars. Great House for our Trip

We stayed at the house for the 2009 Livestrong Challenge. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The garage was a great plus for locking up the bikes at night. Was also nice to be able to walk to the HEB food store across the street. Owner was very friendly, and even left us cookies!

Colorado/UT Game Weekend

We had a blast at this house during the Colorado/UT weekend game. The house is perfectly located across from a large grocery store--walking distance. Great Mexican restr. just about 5 minutes away--Juan in a Million. House is perfectly staffed with all necessities. The fruit and cookies were delicious that Kevin left in the kitchen. Easy access to all places in Austin--just one mile off Highway 35.

This house made our Girls Weekend the best!

My girlfriends and I came to Austin for the weekend and this house made the weekend amazing! The location was ideal being so close to the downtown area which made our visit easy to see several sites in Austin and a taxi one way to downtown was only $6. It was nice to feel like we were at home and not in a hotel, and the space made it easy to entertain our little group with the available kitchen. Kevin, the owner, was fantastic. He made it easy to get the key by meeting us at the house and giving us a quick tour, offering suggestions to area restaurants and leaving us with some baked chocolate chip cookies which didn't last more than 15 minutes after Kevin left! Thanks for making our girls weekend extra special - it will be hard to top this rental and we will be coming back!

My friends and I stayed at this great house for three weeks in August. I loved being so close to downtown and taking advantage of all the great places to go. The house is so clean and the decor is refreshing. The space was quite open and comfortable. I stayed in the master bedroom where the king size bed was amazing and the closet space was immense. I loved the light fixtures and the buddha head was calming.

The owners of the house were so helpful and knowledgeable of the city. I celebrated my birthday the first week I was there and they gave me at least 20 different options of where to go. They responded and had an answer to every question we had.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Austin. They would not be disappointed. I surely wasn't.

East downtown austin comtemporary

Cleanest coolest perfect mid size contemporary house for 3 friends or 3 couples.
Very comfy beds and great bathrooms, nice appliances & TV.
Although this is not a " high end" neighborhood its a safe one with friendly neighbors. Its so close to 6th street, there are terrific authentic mexican restaurants in quick walking distance and a grocery store right across the street.
Its easy, stylish and comfortable and I would highly recommend it for the value and style.
We called fast affordable taxis all weekend to take us to South Congress, Warehouse district and 6th street.
