Bi-level decks with stunning lake views; this home has a loft and walkout basement with fire pit and private beach. Dock and row boat is included with the house motor is available upon request. Excellent fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and rollerblading. Casinos within 1 hour.

About the Lake: My family and I have enjoyed great fishing right in front of the home. The location is great because it is so close to Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven and Muskegon. The views are great and the home is on the biggest part of the lake.

This cottage was perfect. It is much larger than it looks in the pictures. We had eight adults and we had plenty of room. Agreed, there are a lot of steps to get down to the beach but it made the campfires at night nice and private. The owner was great to deal with and I would definately recommend this cottage.

Great Week on the Lake

The house is very nice and spacious. There were 6 of us and plenty of room (one bedroom was never used). There are a few games and a foozball table. TV reception is good but no computer (which may be a benefit). The water pressure was good, kitchen well stocked and lake was wonderful. There is a mini kitchen in the basement which is helpful for storing drinks and snacks. There are a number of steps to the lake so you need to be healthy. Also, you need to step down from the landing into the lake. The lake was very sandy and a nice temp. There is a nice place to sit by the lake and great campfire. There were alot of fish to be caught right off the dock. We rented a canoe and kayak from the Sawmill tubing place and that added alot of fun.

Cute place!

The place was very cute & cozy. It was much bigger than it looks and had plenty of space for the 8 of us. We also entertained family for dinner who live close-by and had plenty of space. The top deck had a great view and was so nice. It was clean and nicely decorated.
The fishing off the dock was great! My son caught a 21 inch pike one day and a 26 inch pike the next. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking utensils and cookware you could possibly need. We really enjoyed it! A few negatives would be that the access for swimming was not the greatest since there was not much of a beach to enter it from and you had to walk a pretty long and steep set of stairs to get down there. Also, the bottom level of the home was very damp and musty which aggravated some of our allergies. It was something to consider since one of the bedrooms is on that floor. Lastly, the bottom level bathroom's shower had almost no water pressure and was rarely hotter then lukewarm.
Overall, it was a great value for the cost and we had a great vacation!
