Tropical Paradise

We like to invite friends and family to share our kauai experience and this condo is well-suited for that. Both bedrooms are comfortable and the two bathrooms well-appointed. The washer and dryer are large-capacity and very convenient. The kitchen window overlooks the ocean and pool area. Being on the top floor is ideal for the view and the quiet. We saw lots of whale activity, along with dolphins and sea turtles. Parrish co. was helpful for suggestions of what to do on the island, and when the tsunami warning was sounded before midnight on March 11, they personally called telling us of the evacuation procedure and where to go and what radio station to listen to for updates. The condo sits high on the rocky bluff and was in no danger, but is included in the evacuation map.
We always enjoy the Smith Luau, and we also attended the McMaster slack-key guitar concert in Hanalei again which is very pleasant. The free hula shows at the Poipu Shopping Mall and the Coconut Marketplace are always fun to watch. Poipu and Lawai beaches are great for snorkeling and sunning. The condo had plenty of thick beach towels for us to use.
We had many meals in our condo and enjoyed Brenneke's, Keoki's Paradise, Pizzetta, and TomKats close by. Also the new ice cream store in Koloa is just as good as the Lapperts who moved out to the new mall west of town. We always eat at at least one Bubba's when we're in Kauai and we ate at both Brick Oven Pizza restaurants. Their Thursday buffets are amazing.
It was a wonderful month away from snow and cold. We would highly recommend this condo!

Owner's Response: A wonderful review of some of the activities, restaurants and beaches in the area from a seasoned Kauai visitor. Good description of some of the features of our condo too!
