Gulf Front 2BR Beach Villa at South Seas - Direct Beach Front

My two friends and I loved this condo! We are all seasoned travelers, and all of us were impressed by the size of the condo (very spacious; more than enough room for three adults travelling together, but it would be perfect for a family, too), how very clean and well-furnished it was, the big screened-in porch, and most importantly-- the location. None of us was familiar with Captiva prior to this trip, and so we could not have known that we had chosen a condo in the perfect location. It truly is steps to the beach via a nice boardwalk which is well-lit at night (for shelling after low tide!) and is also mere steps to the the very nice pool. It is also remarkably convenient to shops and restaurants-- if you must have your Starbucks, it's within a stone's throw (although the kitchen of this condo has everything, so we always used the coffeemaker provided) and Captiva's most famous restaurants as well as a pizza shop, ice cream shop, and some gift shops are also within a very easy walk. The resort of which this condo is part is so big that truly, you could rent another, comparable unit, but you might very well find yourself very far away from these amenities. Dick was very flexible with our visit dates, which we greatly appreciated, since we were coordinating three different work schedules, and then I accidentally reserved the wrong arrival date. He was very kind about adjusting it for us. The reception staff at the resort could not have been nicer or more helpful, and even though we arrived very late, the after-hours key-pickup was simple. We highly recommend this unit, and we hope to rent it again in the future. We really had a wonderful time and can think of not one complaint.
