More information about this home: This waterfront remodeled home is located a stones throw to the Bearcamp River which feeds into Lake Ossipee. It is a sandy bottomed river with a sandy beach. Catch Fish out your backdoor. We have a large water trampoline and lots of toys,kayaks, canoes,fishing poles,swing set, tubes, water slide, outdoor fire pit, hot tub overlooking river.There is a large deck around the house. The home is located on a private road. There are activities nearby for any season. Skiing,golf, mini golf, go karts,snowmobile trails only one minute away, The home is centrally located to the lakes and mountain region. 30 minutes drive to Lake Winnipessaukee, Laconia, North Conway& Freyburg Maine. One hour Drive to Mount Washington, Franconia Knotch. Within 10 minutes drive Enjoy nearby Hiking, antiquing, Monthly auctions at 'Gary Wallace Auctioneers', Lake Ossipee, boat rentals, ice fishing.

Ski: A short drive to many of New Hampshire's top ski areas. 30 minutes to North Conway ski areas, Cranmore....one hour to Wildcat, Attitash..Loon..15 minutes to King Pine....30 minutes to Gunstock..Skiworks full service ski equipment rental shop located 5 minutes from the house ..stop in to Skiworks...for all you rentals and ski equipment..They are so nice and have a great selection!

Golf: 'Indian Mound Golf' course 5 minutes from the house.There is also a driving range and two miniature golf courses 5 minutes away.

The Perfect Rustic Getaway

The time spent at this vacation rental was really worth the initial gamble of the unknown. This property is off the beaten path enough without being too far from great amenities like fine/casual dining,antiquing, spa treatment, shopping, great outdoor activities skiing, skating-a pleasant outdoor jog-right out the door!-all of which we enjoyed on our stay in New Hampshire! Our family has stayed here twice and each time spent was more magical and relaxing. It has quaintness about it and is special whether you go in the winter months or a spring summer getaway! The river access makes it great in the summer months. I love this house!!! It is really a special place -guaranteed to make some great memories!!

A great summer vacation spot

My family spent a wonderful week in July at this house. It is everything it says it is. The location was perfect and very peaceful. The river was clean and very calm for swimming and kayaking. I had 3 teenagers and 3 elementary school age children with me and they all loved the place. Plenty to do at the property and lots of nearby activities/restaurants. The house itself was unbelievable. Clean, modern, and very very confortable. Plenty of room! We will be back next year. Thanks for a great 2009 summer vacation

So much Fun!

I stayed there with my family twice in the last year and we loved every minute of our time in this beautiful VT home! In the summer there are tons of outdoor activities right of the back deck. You can just about jump into the calm river from the house! You can kayak, hike, or just relax on the deck. In the winter this home is located close to several great ski mountains. My family and I had a wonderful time and we look forward to going back this spring!
Owner's Response: The reviewer mixed up the states...this house is in New Hampshire not Vermont..oops!
