Additional King suite with kitchenette, private bath, jetted tub, TV area and eating area is available for larger parties for an additional nightly fee. This space is locked off if not rented. It is available for a nightly fee of $75 in addition to the rest of the home.

Notes: Main portion of home has 2 Queen size beds and 1 trundle daybed (perfect for kids) which opens to a King size bed. The additional, locked off lower level suite has 1 King size bed, kitchenette and a TV-sitting area and is $75 per night. Home is situated mountainside and may be unsuitable for unsupervised small children. Up to 2 pets are allowed for an additional $20 per night fee. Home is easily accessible by 2 wheel drive vehicles. There is one bedroom on main floor that is elderly accessible. Other bedrooms require going up or down 1 flight of stairs.

River Activities: This Log Home is situated within walking distance of the Little Tennessee River. Fishing, Fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing, rafting and tubing can be arranged through the Great Smoky Mountain Fish Camp just down the road from the home. Guided fishing trips are also available!

Hiking/Waterfalls: Numerous hiking trails and waterfalls are within a short drive of the home. Consult with the Wayah District Forest Service in Franklin for information regarding trails and waterfall hikes.

Gem Mining: Our home is very convenient to all of Franklin and surrounding area Gem Mines. Many mines are just a few minutes down the road! Come and join the many who have found fabulous treasures in the areas rich Gem Mines!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The view was beautiful, just what I was looking for when I started my search. 180 degrees of beautiful mountain ranges. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine was a perfect way to end the day. The home was also beautiful. It is indeed a luxurious log home with plenty of room and lots of windows overlooking the mountains.

We really enjoyed touring the area. We traveled to several small towns within an hours drive including Dillsboro, Sylva, Bryson City and Highlands. My favorite was Highlands. The waterfalls were beautiful. We also went horseback riding and canoeing. The owners are very friendly and were helpful with recommendations on places to eat and towns to visit.

I loved this trip. One of my favorites. I highly recommend this place to all!

This home is exactly what you're looking for if you need an escape from your busy life. It is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and remote. The pictures and description are accurate and you will not be disappointed if you want to get away from it all. Plan to cook in the gourmet kitchen and plan your meals well as you don't want to have to run back to the store. Better yet--use your imagination with the ingredients you have and create your own feast. Don't forget to bring your favorite beverage and plan to spend many relaxing hours on the deck, in the spa,and communing with nature. The bed was very comfortable and we really appreciated being able to bring our dog. We all slept very well! Beautiful place!
P.S. Word from experience--approach the home from Franklin. The road from Bryson City has many tight curves and is not good for anyone with a weak stomach!

We stayed in this home last June and loved it.The view is as good as it gets and getting in and out is easy. We appreciate that we were allowed to bring our dog.

WOW!!!!!!!We have never seen a more beautiful 180 degree, unobstructed view of the mountains. Cabin was pristine clean, view from master bedroom was breathtaking. Great appliances, hot tub, and outdoor grill.
Definitly not the run of the mill cabin rental. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thanks for calling to be sure we had everything we needed.
