This home is everything it is represented to be. We found it to be perfect for our extended family with its two master suites at opposite ends of the home, and the spacious kitchen and lanai, making cooking and eating together a delight. For a large family, it was great to be within walking distance to the supermarket, drug store, and Urgent Care, as well as the Sheraton for morning coffee or other special treats. The pool is perfect for younger children just learning to swim with its 4-ft. plus uniform depth. A private, tropical feel is created by the attractive landscaping. Best of all, is the warm ALOHA provided by the owner!! You, too, will want to return.

We enjoyed staying here so much, we are already planning a return trip. As other reviewers have noted, the photographs do not do the house justice. The home is not only well decorated (think Architectural Digest beach house), the rooms are large and comfortable and flooded with light. Indeed, my only criticism, being a light sleeper sensitive to light, is that the bedrooms could use blackout shades or curtains on the windows, including on the skylights, so the street lamps and the sun don't wake you too early. (Okay, the knives also needed a good sharpening and some of the pots and pans could stand to be replaced, but that is a minor complaint, and we wouldn't have known or minded except we did a lot of cooking.) Other pluses: the house is in a nice neighborhood, very residential and quiet, though you could walk to a supermarket and drugstore and two farmers markets, as well as a little beach. And Ed, one of the owners, was always available to answer questions, which we greatly appreciated. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to returning.

I planned what I hoped would be a very special family celebration - 3 generations (5 adults, and our grandsons 3-1/2 & 6-1/2) to mark these family milestones. Our time on the big island was magical, and it all began well when we met Ed & George upon arrival...their warmth, their beautiful and well-equipped home, their welcoming gift of avocados & papaya from their farm set the tone for a beautiful 10 day stay that we will treasure always. As some others have written, the house was even more charming & spacious than I had surmised from the photos. I love & am picky about design & was delighted that there was no schlocky artwork or furnishings to contend with. They all contributed to the home's wonderful sense of light, spaciousness & cleanliness.

We had most of our meals at home & had such fun cooking together, dining on the screened lanai, serenaded by the gorgeous tropical birds, surrounded by lush landscape. Every day we planned a new excursion & the home's location was ideal for plans near & far, and usually returned in time to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets from the deck.

We had such a memorable stay & Mahalo Ed & George; actually the magic began during the planning stage by your warmth & patience with my many questions. I felt as if you were a fellow conspirator, working with me to create our marvelous family trip. Thank you once again! We will treasure the memories.
