Customer Review 1: We stayed in this apartment in mid-March 2009. The location is great, close to the beach, in a very safe area and with restaurants, shops and bars nearby. Booking process was very smooth and responses were very quick. The apartment itself is spacious and very well decorated. I can honestly say we had no complaints and had a very nice stay there.

VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay that is centrally located in Ipaneima, one block from the beach! Everything you need is within walking distance, from an extended-hours grocery store, to the shopping district and great restaurants... and especially the BEACH! The condo is clean, modern and very spacious. The building is secure and access to it is very safe. The street is quiet, as is the condo. The owners of the property are amazing. Friendly, helpful and very trustworthy. Dealing with them was a pleasure. Staying at this property really made the vacation. I would be happy to answer questions from others interested in staying at this property. I am planning on visiting Rio again and will definitely stay at here.

We stayed at the apartment on Rua Nascimento da Silva and it was wonderful. Beautifully decorated 2 BR/2BA on the 14th floor of a doorman-secure building. The location was ideal... 4 blocks from the beach, and close to many pubs, restaurants and juice bars. Most of all, Woodie and Ricardo were very responsive to our emails and made our trip planning completely stress-free. We will recommend this apartment to our friends who visit Rio.

Its officially one year since our Brazil trip and we had to look up the apt online as we reminisce about how much of a great time we had while we were there. The apartment was great but more so the service of the employees - the manager of the apartment itself, how conveniently located it was close to the beach, Zona sul market right next door with fresh bread every day and Shennanigans...we are ready to go back. Thank you so much Woodie and Staff for the memories that will last a lifetime. Rosalie, Frank, Sal & Cristtyan.

Nice place, great owners, and location

The best thing about this place is the location. It's just a couple of blocks from the beach, one block from the super market, and a block a way from the park where they have the hippie and food market on different days. The response and service you get from Woodie and Ricardo is great. They make you feel very comfortable about renting a place in Rio and they always got back to us with questions as well as the return of our deposit. The place had a nice washer and dryer and it was well stocked with plenty of towels. It is also very clean and safe.

Fantastic unit

my favorite things about this unit: 1. QUIET! It doesn't face the street; no bus noise! 2. just about one block to the beach...i also liked the little square nearby with a truly spectacular produce market on tuesdays. 3. comfortable...have stayed in other apartments in rio and this unit has much nicer amenities (thick towels, showerhead with good pressure, good sheets with decent thread count, cooking utensils, etc). highly recommend it.
