Wonderful Bay Park Ocean view and Mission Bay view home with private solar heated salt water pool and spa. Architecturally interesting home recently remodeled with Designer finishes and state of the Art amenities through out. The home is 2500 sq feet of interior living space, spread over 3 levels. The ground floor consist of two guest bedrooms with sliding doors to the Pool and entertaining area as well as the entry courtyard. There is a large guest bathroom with separate shower, large roman jetted tub and double sinks. The bathroom is finished in travertine and has heated floors and a separate door to access the pool area. Each of the two guest bedrooms has a queen size bed, designer linens, and large walk in closet and a wall mounted LCD television. Every room in the house is wired for stereo with built in speakers and individual volume wall mounted controllers. Also on the ground level is the Entry Hall and laundry area.   • The master bath has heated floors, a large double shower with a window to view the bay and ocean as well as a double vanity. The second floor of the home has a formal living room with two sided gas fireplace, high ceilings, 10 foot french doors leading to the bay view front patio with comfy seating. The living room also has a baby grand piano. Adjoining the living room is the formal dining room with a large travertine table and designer high back leather dining chairs, the dining room has large windows overlooking the entry courtyard. lush gardens and water fountain. The rear of the second floor has a powder room, gourmet Kitchen with commercial grade stainless appliances, large center granite island with breakfast bar, comfy leather sofa seating and a 50 inch plasma tv, surround sound stereo and entertainment center. The TV area has a wall of glass overlooking the rear yard, gardens, pool and spa and is connected with a custom free standing landing and staircase.

Designer touches!: The second floor of the home consist of the formal living room which is two stories with a dramatic two sided gas fireplace, and 10 ft. double french doors that lead to the bay view terrace with an outside seating area to enjoy the views, the sea world nightly fireworks while being warmed by the cozy fireplace! The living room also has a baby grand piano for your enjoyment. The formal dining area seats 8 in comfort with large windows overlooking the entry courtyard with beautiful and lush tropical landscaping and a unique fountain. The state of the Art kitchen has a thermador gas range and commercial over, custom slab granite counters, a large center island with bar seating. The kitchen is ope to the tv room with a 40 inch wall mounted plasma tv, built in surround sound stereo system, all of this can be enjoyed while overlooking the rear yard, pool and spa. The second floor is connected to the pool and spa by a custom metal freestanding landing and stair case.

Kitchen!: The rear yard has a gas grill, and designer outdoor seating for dining and entertaining. There are designer chaise lounges to soak up the sun and floating rafts for the pool. The Top floor of the home is dedicated as a 'Master Retreat'. It consist of a computer desk area overlooking the entry courtyard with amazing views of the Ocean and Mission Bay. The bedroom area has a four poster king size bed and a 32 inch wall mounted plasma tv with built in surround sound stereo. The 'Master Retreat' also has an adjacent sitting area with a free standing gas fireplace and an adjoining small balcony with double french doors overlooking the rear yard and pool. The master bathroom has a large walk in shower with a window of views to the Ocean and Mission Bay, a double vanity, heated floors and a large walk in closet.

Great Vacation Home!

Property had all the ameneties! AND, it was close to EVERYTHING! The bay is a short walk - where you can walk, jog, rollerblade, or simply relax and watch the boats go by! The beach, Belmont Park, and Sea World is a short 5 minute drive. It's also close to Downtown, Old Town or any other part of San Diego since the property is so close to freeway accessibility.

Summer vacation 2009

We just returned from the most amazing week in San Diego with my son. We found this property on line and by the look of the gorgeous pictures we just had to look into renting this property. From the moment we walked in the door we were more than satisfied with our decision to choose this house. The pictures don't give this property justice. Aside from the obvious decor that the photographs show on the web site seeing the house really took our breath away! This truly was a great find. The house is minutes off the interstate, one exit from Sea World and walking distance from the bay. Not to mention once you get to know your way around the neighborhood you will find very easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops. If you are looking for a fantastic Italian restaurant go to Baci off of Merena Blvd. The food, atmosphere and service was five stars across the board. One of the greatest highlights.... make sure you are home for what seems to feel like your own private fireworks display nightly from Sea World. Be sure to be on the front patio nightly at 9:50 pm with the fireplace lit and music to your own taste.

Don't hesitate if you feel overwhelmed with all of the electronics in the home or having any questions regarding the property. Ray and Chuck are one phone call away and whenever we had a question they always made themselves available for us. There is already no doubt that we will either be renting this property again or one of the other few that Ray and Chuck have to offer. On a scale of 1 to 10 we give our vacation a 12.

We can't thank you enough for giving us a wonderful summer vacation to remember.

San Diego winner

Our group of 5 (two adults plus kids of 21/18/16) stayed in this memorable property for four nights in July and all of us would return in a heartbeat. My kids -- always the harshest critics -- were totally impressed by the amenities and comfort of the house – it was tempting to stay in rather than visiting all the various sites on our San Diego “to do” list (and when we did venture out, the location made it convenient to reach most areas easily.) The pool and spa were glorious, particularly in the evening. Everything was beautifully thought-out and as presented in the rental listing, the owners were helpful, flexible and efficient throughout the reservation process, and we had our security deposit back in hand before we’d even gotten back home. The rental was the highlight of a all-around great LA/San Diego vacation.

I am usually fairly sceptical about vacation homes. "If you live in a nice home, why ,for your vacation, bother renting a home without all the amenities/luxury you are used to" summarizes my concern over vacation homes. This property however was better than anything I have ever rented before.
Great design, excellent pool, wonderful kitchen, excellent beds, and wonderful owners. It was clean, the listing description is accurate and we have so far recommended the property to a number of friends and colleagues.
We spent 6 nights with our 2 daughters (age 4 and 5) and loved every minute of it.
Thanks Ray and Chuck for dealing so promptly with our questions on the pool and the tv system.

Mission Bay San Diego,CA Vacation

We spent a wonderful week in San Diego and enjoyed our stay at this modern vacation home. It was thoroughly equipped with everything we needed for our stay and a couple of bonuses including indoor/outdoor fireplace and babygrand piano we enjoyed playing. The only downer was the partly overcast weather that wiped out a couple of beach days; however, we used them to visit the world famous San Diego Zoo (a must for any trip to SD) and trips to Old Towne, Corando Island and La Jolla. Would definately vacation at this home again and highly recommend staying here if you plan to stay in San Diego. The owners were friendly, helpful, great to deal with and helped us navigate their high tech entertainment center. Thank you Ray & Chuck!
