'Kasita Beach' is a beautiful 'eco-style' home in an unspoiled natural setting. Nestled atop the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, our beachfront home offers everything an astute vacationer is looking for; great value, privacy, comfort, an unspoiled natural setting with beach front access.. With spectacular views from all angles, and an infinity pool overlooking the pristine beaches of the Pacific, you will simply feel as if you just arrived in a far-away natural paradise.
The combination of natural paradise and intriguing history make Nicaragua a unique destination in the America’s. The home is in the town of Masachapa, one hour away from Managua and it has everything you need; a vibrant culture, warm and welcoming people, fresh fish markets, pharmacies, grocery markets, churches, medical facilities, night life, restaurants, and even a casino minutes away from Barcelo Resort. Hence, we are sure to make a memorable impact.
My partners and I are real estate investors from California looking for investment opportunities in tropical locations like Nicaragua. We have been to Nicaragua several times and we love it. During our recent trip we were fortunate enough to come accross this home because we had a terrific time. The service and the house are truly one of a kind. Andre, the owner calls it paradise and I tend to agree. The house is comfortable, the view is spectacular and Jorge and his wife Juana treated us like royalty. Next time we are in town we will not hesitate to stay here again. By the way, thank you very much for the grilled lobsters "al ajillo" Juana!
My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent property for the last 3 years in January and February. Each day is filled with sunshine and luxurious surroundings. People talk about having a " million dollar view " but this place actually delivers it. The house sits high over the beach so you have wonderful vistas in each direction. We watch the boats come and go with the birds diving in the water behind them. The house is clean and well maintained daily. The pool is cleaned and the grounds are raked every day. The staff of Christian and Dayana take great pride in their work and are available at a moments notice. The village is a short walk down the beach where there are basic stores and small restaurants.
There is also a reliable English speaking concierge Carol to take care of anything else you may need or want.
Kathleen the owner is very good at responding immediately for any concerns you may have.
There are no words to really describe the property. Just get on the plane and go! Now!! Joan and Jean Pierre.
We had the best ever vacation here at Masachapa. The house is even better than the pictures. My husband and I spent 2 months in this most spectacular place. The house is clean and kept spotless by Dayana and her husband Christian who mantains the grounds and pool. Dayana made wonderful fish and ceviche for us on several occasions. We enjoyed quiet sunsets and cocktails overlooking the Pacific ocean each night. We went for long walks along the mostly empty beach toward the Barcelo resort. In the other direction is the village of Masachapa. There you will find the fish market on the beach, pharmacies, clothing stores, a gas station, bars and restaurants. Very cute.
Carol is the one to call if you want to do tours of the area or ride ATVs on the beach. She can arrange anything and everything for you. Speaks perfect English AND makes killer cakes for dessert.
Kathleen is the owner and makes everything very easy. She answered all my numerous questions and concerns promptly. Sometimes even within the hour.
We can't wait to return to this special place next year.
7 days of Bliss
From the initial contact(via email) we felt confident that we were in good hands. Kathleen, the property owner, is very knowledgeable and offered a great deal of info before our arrival in Nicaragua.
At the airport we were met by Carol, who was hostess extraordinaire our entire trip. Our flight was delayed so she went food shopping with the list we sent her from the airport in Miami, she picked us up with the groceries and drove us to the house. She speaks great english and has many wonderful ideas for trips and activities. Carol was always a phone call away and was able to get us whatever we needed almost immediately.
The property is very unique, we truly enjoyed it. Being 4 adults and 2 kids we had plenty of privacy yet were always able to spend time together in different areas. The pool is not large yet perfect enough to stay cool, it has a great view of the ocean(the sunsets were sublime) which is just steps away down a private path. The ocean is a bit rough for swimming but great if you like to go for a run, a long walk, ride a horse or drive a 4x4.
Diana and Christian, the caretakers were fantastic. Diana cooked most of our meals, kept the place neat and Christian got us fresh fish, more groceries when needed and kept the property clean.
The only reason we give the property 4, instead of 5, stars is there's no laundry on-site.
We highly recommend this home...
I could not say more positive things about the house and the wonderful people associated with it. I wanted to plan a surprise trip for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and when I was researching places this house alone sold me on going to Nicaragua! The owner, Kathleen, was so accommodating in all of my questions my other guests had. She was very sweet, quick with responses, and helpful. Once the 7 of us were all in the house it was breath taking! I didn't realize how hot the town was or how great the A/C was in the rooms! The house is so much more amazing than the pictures could ever show! Carol was wonderful in helping us get all of our groceries, setting up activities, and showing us around. She literally was willing to help with anything to make our trip amazing. She showed us around town and was so much fun to spend some time with. Carol went above and beyond for us! The caretakers were so unexpected! Diana and Christian were on site to make us meals, clean, etc. They take such good care of the property and really seem to simply want to make us comfortable. Their little daughter Adriana and I were fast friends! I fell in love with her and their sweet puppy. Overall, this house and these wonderful people can't be spoken highly enough of! Thank all of you guys for making this trip so amazing! I really hope to go back someday....we all said that we have to make more visits!!
We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely villa for ten days and would have stayed longer if we could have...it was all that we had expected and more! The rooms and grounds were beautifully kept, spacious, and very comfortable. Cristian and Dayana were so accommodating, meeting our myriad of requests with a smile every time! We thoroughly enjoyed their company, sharing many laughs at our attempts to communicate (note: unless you speak fluent Spanish, be sure to bring a Spanish/English dictionary as it's an essential tool in most of Nicaragua). Even though Nicaragua is VERY HOT, we spent every day outdoors in comfort thanks to the constant breeze and the lovely pool. Our nights were comfortable due to the luxury of air-conditioning! However, the greatest asset of this home was Carol, property manager EXTRAORDINAIRE! Because she's a local and speaks fluent English, she was an invaluable asset for us on a daily basis-she literally made our holiday. As for activities, we went fishing, beach-combing, surfing, zip-lining, shopping and dining in Managua, volcano surfing, and even spent a lovely day enjoying the pools and other venues at the Barcello Resort (a mere 20 min walk away). All in all, we would recommend this home to anyone and everyone and we will definitely want to come back to Nicaragua again soon!
