Location:
This beautiful retreat is located just 75 feet from deep water frontage with a private dock, mooring and beach access. The island does have a boat landing or you can just sail or power your boat over to a secure dock or mooring to explore the many sites surrounding Westport Island such as the Boothbay Harbor region, Five Islands, Fort Popham or the other many surrounding islands and attractions. Great restaurants are a short boat ride away. No boat no problem enjoy watching the lobster-man at work, sailboats, seal watching or just relax and read a good book on the large deck. Located on a private road for walks or bicycling or take advantage of several walking trails located on the island. Enjoy beautiful sunrises from any room in the house and if you are here during the full moon you can enjoy the spectacular moonrise. In the evening open up the dining room to the screened-in deck or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine or nightcap.

Enjoy the modern kitchen for creating gourmet meals or the gas grill for that great barbecue. Arrange for fresh lobster for a lobster-bake. If exploring is on your mind, the midcoast area has lots to offer. There are many antique shops and markets up and down the coast, great restaurants and of course the best seafood in the country, many beaches such as Reid State Park, Popham, Pemaquid, or Damariscotta State Park, Maine Maritime Museum , Fort Edgecomb, Fort Pemaquid and Fort Popham. All these areas are within 1 hour or less driving time.
