Your vacation villa is located in a quiet area, right on a broad canal which provides direct sailboat access to the Gulf of Mexico. In the 1,000 m2 garden, you'll be surrounded by palms and citrus trees. The comfortable apartment with its large terrace and pool area assures a rejuvenating vacation.

Information for boat drivers: There is a boat dock at the house with an American picnic table. Here you cannot only tie your rental boat, but rather you can also enjoy breakfast or have a private picnic whenever you want and at the same time enjoy a superb view. You are practically sitting 'in the water' in front of great scenery. You can rent a boat from one of the countless marinas or boat renters in Cape Coral or Ft. Myers. Enjoy 'Florida-living'.

House design: By the furnishing and designing of the Sea Shell Villa, we consciously paid attention to having everything furnished in 'Florida style'. Light, clear colors make the picture right. The design of the rooms is soft and friendly and conveys the Southern attitude towards life. Just the 'formal dining' area is somewhat more dignified - here you can also have a festive meal once. You will find our house name 'Sea Shell' in many details within the house - after all, the famous shell island 'Sanibel' is not too far away. Enjoy 'Florida living'!

You will quickly realize that you want to spend the most of your time not in the house, but rather outside. That is why we have placed a lot of value on the garden, pool and pool area. In the garden you will find beautiful palm trees, citrus trees and other plants. The pool is big enough be wild in (especially children will have their fun - there are numerous pool toys available). The water fall calmly cascades into the pool and brings along relaxation in quieter hours. The pool is heated with solar heating - environment friendly. The whole pool area with its open space and lanai (roofed sitting area) is protected against mosquitoes and other bugs through a Screen (fly gauze). Thus you can experience the warmth of the evening in Florida, maybe first grill real American steaks on the gas grill or simply lay comfortably with a cocktail and gaze at the stars. There are many canals throughout Cape Coral, found on the Gulf of Mexico. The islands offer a paradise for those who love nature and water sports. The Fort Myers International Airport can be reached in about 30 minutes with a car. LTU flies multiple times each week non stop from Düsseldorf and Munich to Ft. Meyers and Condor flies multiple times a week from Frankfurt to Orlando. There are kilometer-long beaches in the area, often without people - they can be reached comfortably with a car or with a boat. Shopping centers or outlet malls can be found in Ft. Myers or on Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral. A supermarket, gas station, McDonalds, restaurants and other shops can be reached in about 5 minutes.

  • The prices are valid for bookings with 2 people. Each extra person costs 25.00 Euro. 2 children up to 12 years of age stay free. The prices do not include an extra 11% tax (6% sales tax and 5% tourist tax). A seasonal surcharge of 10% is charged for Christmas and Easter - you must stay for at least 2 weeks around these holidays. We would of course give discounts for lengthy stays and last minute bookings. Please ask us about it.

Notes: You will find numerous beach utensils in the garage and also 4 bikes that you can use at your own risk. Air mattresses, different coolers, beach chairs, covers and a few more useful things make for a superb day at the beach. You can also rent 2 kayaks for a minimal charge. With the kayaks, you can discover the numerous canals and the nature preserve. You can get into the house directly through the garage - so you don't need to keep going out to bring your purchases into the house. The utility room is purposely small - after all you are on vacation! But everything is there that you could ever need: a washing machine and dryer, iron and board, vacuum, brush, etc. Through this small utiity room, the master bathroom could be enlarged. An elegant corner bath tub, 2 built in wash basins and a giant shower will lure you in. In the master bedroom you will find the 2nd television (LCD) and a 2nd satellite receiver.
