Enjoy our 'TREEHOUSE' and the best of both worlds in a charming lakefront / mountain cabin on a pristine and quiet lake nestled in the foothills of the Smokey Mtns. Lake Adger is 438 acres and 14 miles of shoreline in the heart of western North Carolina's equestrian towns. Small private communities have been carved throughout this unspoiled 3200 acre mountain landscape. Our Treehouse, so named because it's surrounded by trees giving the feeling that you're as high as the tallest tree. The main level, easily accessed from the parking area with no stairs has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast / dining area. Adjacent to the dining area is an inviting living area with vaulted ceiling, natural stone fireplace, hardwood floors and breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, large Whirlpool tub and sun room also with views. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and its own adjoining bath. Wood steps close by lead down to the lake and boat slip for swimming, boating, fishing and socializing. Next to our cabin is a park, on the water, with a screened gazebo and hanging chair to enjoy the evening breezes off the lake.

Our stay in this home was relaxing, quiet and peaceful! The home is very well maintained and stocked with the basic essentials you will need. The homeowners are very friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend this home to others.

Fabulous mountain/lake retreat

This cabin on the lake/in the woods is well-maintained and clean. Very peaceful setting over-looking the lake/marina.
Owner communicated well and provided excellent directions to cabin and neighboring Lake Lure grocery store. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure area (about 8-10 miles away) are must sees if you stay here!
