Welcome to The Great Getaway Lodge! We want to warmly welcome you to stay at our luxurious log cabin. There is so much to do and see around this location nestled in the Ozarks and our prayer is that you will come, relax and enjoy the area while staying at The Great Getaway Lodge near Branson, Missouri. Whether you are sitting inside reading a great book by the roaring fire, or if you are having a nice cozy time with someone special in the gazebo, we know that you will have a memorable time. The back deck overlooks the golf course below and is equipped with a hot tub and patio furniture for a nice meal outdoors. Or stay indoors and eat in the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The Great Getaway Lodge is furnished with all new furnishings, a large screen television, and lodge decor that you would find comfortable and inviting to rest and relax while away from home. The Great Getaway Lodge is in an ideal location. We are situated in the Oakmont Hills Resort Community, 8 miles south of Branson in Ridgedale, Missouri. The cabin's location is close to the lake activities of Table Rock Lake and all that Branson has to offer in way of entertainment, shows, shopping, antiquing and restaurants. We are close to the outdoors hiking and fishing of Dogwood Canyon, Silver Dollar City(amusement park), Branson Landing's waterfront dining or shopping, and so much more. Bring the clubs and golf at some of Branson's finest golf courses nearby. After a long day at any of these attractions, come back to the cabin and relax, resting for the next day's adventure. Or, simply stay in and enjoy the haven of The Great Getaway Lodge. Directions: Hwy 65 to Hwy 86. Go west on Hwy 86. Pass Oakmont Resort and the golf course on left. Take a left on to Jones Road. Take first left (Freund) and go over the covered bridge. Drive back and we are on left: Cabin 19 with gazebo.

We recently stayed two nights in The Great Getaway Cabin and fell so in love with the place we are looking into purchasing a cabin for our family to enjoy year around. This place has it all, golf, boating, fishing, skiing, shows, theme parks, and shopping all within minutes of the cabin's front door. There's no better place to return to after a full day of fun than a beautiful luxury cabin like the Great Getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your private cabin with us. We will definitely return!

Fabulous Family Vacaion

Your cabin served as the halfway point for two families from Chicago and Dallas. The trees, evening walks, and dinner on the deck were the perfect six-night prescription for wary "city folk." The cabin is beautifully appointed, everything we could have needed was available to us, and the kids cried when it was time to come home.

Everything was exactly as you said it would be. Upon our arrival, the cabin was spotless and everything was in working condition.

We were close enough to town to enjoy all the Branson has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy beautiful evenings under the stars. In town, we enjoyed the Hard Luck Diner (which you recommended), rode the Ducks, played mini golf, rode go carts, Dick's 5 & 10, and the soda fountain. We fed fish at the fish hatchery and also took in the homestead tour and play at The Shepherd of the Hills. Four our date night, my husband and I enjoyed the group Six. The other couple enjoyed sushi and a massage for their date night! (a testament that Branson has something for everyone!)

We had a fantastic time and have sung your praises to everyone we've talked to since returning home. We can't wait for a return trip to Branson and the Great Getaway Lodge!

We don't have a cabin, but you are always welcome in our home if you ever come to Texas!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Great Getaway Lodge. Everything was so clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend the cabin to friends and family.

Perfect Family Getaway!

This is a wonderful cabin that is beautifully decorated top to bottom. The beds are super comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful way to end many of our days out touring the area. We appreciated all the little touches that made this cabin feel like a home away from home for our family vacation. The owners are easy to work with and answered all our questions quickly. The booking process was also efficient and easy. We have never visited Branson before but it was one of our most enjoyable family vacation spots to date. We loved the location of our cabin in relation to the area - it was far enough removed for us to relax in peace and quiet but close enough/minutes away to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back and recommend this cabin to our friends and family.
