Located 2 blocks from Ocean City’s Gold Coast beaches, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath shore house offers all the amenities of home including full kitchen, central air, cable TV, DVD player, plus a 2nd floor deck with a distant view of the ocean from the second floor deck, off street parking (3 spaces), outdoor enclosed shower, and accommodations for up to 8 people. Located on 31st street, it is convenient to surf shop, Dot's Pasteries, food shopping, cigar shop, salon, Hoys 5&10, beaches and a short bike ride or jog to the 23rd street entrance of the boardwalk.
Detail Rental Information: Smoke Detectors/Carbon Monoxide Detector: Smoke detectors are in every bedroom and in the main hallway. All units are inspected annually by the city and batteries replaced. Carbon Monoxide protector in the main hall is a stand-alone unit powered by battery.
Garbage Disposal: Vegetable skins may jam the unit. There is a tool to crank the unit in the drawer to the left of the sink if it does get stuck. Also, there is a small red reset button underneath the unit.
Detail Rental Information: Damage:
Report any damage or other defects, such as an unclean unit, as soon after arrival as reasonably possible. All breakage and damage incurred during your occupancy must be reported to owner. You are responsible for any damage done by your guest or anyone in your party during your stay, normal wear and tear to be expected.
City Ordinances and Requirements
Ocean City enforces noise ordinances in order to maintain family appeal. They also require that trash be separated for recycling and be placed in designated areas for pick-up on the proper day. The City will fine the occupant if trash is not put out in acceptable containers. Trash cannot be put out in plastic bags.
There is a locked closet in the hallway where our family keeps personal items. This door should remain locked. If you find it open, I would appreciate it if you would close and lock the door. There is plenty of closet space in the hall and bedrooms.
Detail Rental Information:
You may leave the unit outside at all times on the walkway near the storage door. DO NOT COOK UNDERNEATH THE HOUSE OR IN THE STORAGE AREA. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN PROPANE GAS OFF AT TANK BY TURNING CLOCKWISE. There are two tanks, one in use and a spare. If you run out of gas, please re-fill the spare tank at a local supplier. Typically, you will have to exchange the tank for one that they supply. To remove and install the filled tank PLEASE ONLY USE YOUR HANDS TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE FILLED TANK. NO TOOLS REQUIRED
