  • The Upstairs Half-Bath has been completely remodeled and painted a warm green color to compliment the pinecone theme and lovely Mission-style vanity with granite counter. The Downstairs Full Bath has also been remodeled with a nice honey maple vanity and matching mirror and wall cabinet to store your toiletries. The new heater/fan combination keeps the bathroom toasty warm when you shower.

  • The Master Bedroom is privately located in the back of the house with pretty forest views. It is furnished with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and beautiful, solid Mission-style furniture, including a large chest with drawers and shelves and a nightstand. The Moose Room is located in the front of the house to the right with a comfy queen-sized bed and decorated in warm red colors. It has a closet as well as a chest of drawers and a nightstand. The Bunk Room is located in the front of the house to the left with pretty views of the trees and slope outside the window. The bed has comfortable twin and full-sized mattresses with fun Big Bear cabin theme bedding for the kids. This room also has a TV, DVD/VCR players, Gamecube with games, and kids' movies to keep the kids entertained! All bedrooms are on the lower level.

I stayed at this cabin November 20 to 23, 2009, and I can honestly say the only thing nicer than the Big Bear area was the beautifully decorated yet very comfortable cabin. The kitchen, in fact, put my kitchen at home to shame. The weather was wonderful and the area so quiet that walking around was a pleasure. There's just something about playing pool in front of a fireplace that satisfies my country craving. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Great cabin great location! We stayed at the cabin
during the first week in march with 4 adults and 3
young kids. There was plenty of room for
everyone. It was a quick 10 minute drive to snow
summit (5 mins to bear mtn) for a day of skiing and
close to the village...although we ate in every night
because Angie's kitchen had everything we needed.
The cabin was warm and cozy and we felt right at
home there. The kids loved watching a movie on
the bunk beds after a full day of skiing. We hope to
make it back for a summer trip.

We went up to the cabin Feb 27, 28 & 29 just after a huge snow storm. The decor and setup were very pleasing, we felt like we were in the outdoors but with all the luxuries we enjoy in our onwn home. The proximity to town and Snow Summit made things easy to hit the slopes and the stores. The kids enjoyed sleding on a hill just outside the front door of the cabin. We can't wait to make it back in the summer time so the kids can explore more of what big bear has to offer.

We currently stayed at the cabin on 02/06th to the 8th. We had a great time, the cabin is very well decorated and it's extremely cozy, we would definitely come back and recommended to anyone. The cabin is located up a hill and is very close to supermarkets and snow summit. We were happy to find this place.

What a great vacation getaway! The cabin is so lovely, warm, and inviting. The location was perfect for us -- close to the slopes and very easy to get to. We were all very comfortable and felt at home in the cabin. Angie and Rob have very thoughtfully appointed the cabin for comfort and enjoyment. Although we vacationed there in the winter, I'll bet summertime is just as lovely up at Big Bear, and we can't wait to return!
