Taking 3 vacations a year, my husband and I have stayed in a wide variety of hotels, motels, rentals and b&b's, but nothing compares to Lake Blaine Mountain Resort. The resort's location right on the creek, and directly across from the lake, make it the perfect relaxing retreat after spending the day in Glacier, Whitefish, or the Flathead area. We stayed in the cabin and used it as a jumping-off point for touring the western side of Glacier National Park. While it's only a few miles from restaurants, stores, etc, sitting on the deck overlooking the peace and tranquility of the creek gives you the feeling of owning your own mountain retreat. And I don't mean just any cabin retreat...it has virtually every convenience you could ever want. Add to this the fact that the cabin's interior looks like a spread in "Architectural Digest", and it's no wonder we felt like we had won the lottery and moved to the home of our dreams. There is virtually every modern convenience, and the owners make it their mission to see that you have whatever you need. They are simply some of the best hosts we've ever encountered. When the airline lost our luggage for the first day, they were happy to share whatever they had that we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone...families or couples couldn't help but be happy with this choice. Can't wait to go back next year!
