This private home was voted best in a decade of architectural design by New Orleans Magazine. Ideal location in the heart of the Garden District - just 4 blocks from Saint Charles Avenue and 3 blocks from trendy Magazine Street - for hours of shopping, antiquing, gallery hopping and New Orleans cuisine. It's a short walk to the St. Charles Avenue streetcar where you can hop on for a family visit to the Audubon Zoo or a night out in the French Quarter. Enjoy privacy and security - this home is enclosed behind a gate and wall designed by a local architect. The Garden District in New Orleans also has its own private security patrol 24 hours a day. The kitchen is designed for open entertaining and has everything you need for cooking. Hang out in the TV Media room on the second floor or play in the huge yard and palm tree shaded side courtyard. Built in 2003, architectural details include etched cement floors, 13 foot ceilings and beautiful hard wood floors.
