Our rental is a very clean cottage with beautiful ocean views from a private deck. Walk across the street to a private entrance to Drakes Island Beach, on the north side of the island. Stay on the back yard deck and relax or nap in the quiet of the afternoon. House includes washer, dryer and dishwasher. The maximum of six renters with a limit of 4 additional day visitors is strictly enforced, so the house can be maintained at a very high standard. The property is close to many shops and dining places as Route One is minutes away. Once on Drakes Island, you may not want to leave but sightseeing is available with Kennebunkport and Ogunquit, both only a few miles away.

I've visited Maine for several years and have finally found paradise on Drake's Island. The beach is beautiful, uncrowded and safe for children. I loved the cottage.
It has all the conveniences required but is tastefully decorated to make one feel instantly relaxed and at home.
Hearing the surge of the ocean at night from the master bedroom is a definite plus. Delightful!
