Welcome to Seabrook Island South Carolina located 23 miles from historic Charleston. Shadowwood Villa is located on the 8th green of the Seabrook Island's Ocean Winds golf course, and is within walking distance of the beach and club. This is a one bedroom, one and one half bath townhouse. The first floor plan has a Kitchen-Living-Dining combination with all the amenities. The Kitchen is fully equipped including a washer and dryer. The Living Room has a queen size sleeper sofa. Upstairs the Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed. Towels and linens are provided with the exception of beach towels. Seabrook Island is a gated community which boasts 3½ miles of beaches and amenities such as a premier tennis facility, golf and horseback riding. A new town center is just outside of the island with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and shops.

When I surprised my wife with a trip to Charleston for her 30th birthday, we knew we had to stay on Seabrook Island because she spent a summer internship there in college. This was my first time in the area, and it was the best decision we could have made...along with staying in Shadowwood Villa. It was the perfect size for a couple, with all the amenities of home. The beach and pools are only a short bike ride or drive away, and Charleston is only a 20-30 minute scenic drive. In a nutshell, it was the best of both worlds. Don't even consider going to a hotel if you want to experience all that Charleston has to offer. We have recommended Shadowwood Villa to all of our friends and will likely be heading back soon. We have never felt so at home on a vacation, and didn't spend an arm and a leg to do so. Last but certainly not least, the owners were awesome and very helpful. If you want to spend a few days relaxing in paradise, with awesome beaches, beautiful scenery, old south history, and world famous cuisine....stay at Shaddowood Villa, and you won't be disappointed.

A Week in Paradise

This villa was perfect for our small family of three. It was nicely furnished and decorated, and it was in a great location on the island. We could get to any number of beach entrances within 3-5 minutes on our bikes. The island offered so many amenities and the people there were so friendly. Charleston makes for a great day trip to see historic homes and walk around unique shops. We also rode our bikes in to Freshfields and saw a great, free concert on the lawn. All in all, this is a wonderful place to vacation. The homeowners were very helpful too!
