We just returned from staying in this condo and we will not be going back. The condo was not clean, there was no dishwasher. We found huge cock roaches in the bathroom. The furniture felt damp. The walls are extremely thin and the neighbors partied all night and when I contacted Bob he did not care. The parking is horrible, people piled two cars for one space and blocked the view of the street. This place might be cheap but there is a reason for that.
Owner's Response: It is unfortunate that Erika had a bad experience here. This is the first I've heard about any insects, although I cannot disprove the claim. We do have this property regularly treated by exterminators.
Our cleaners provide a fantastic service. The building is over 20 years old, and we can't make something new just by cleaning it. We know that this property is aging...that's why it doesn't cost as much to stay here.
She contacted me on the second day of her stay about the noise next door, and I did contact those tenants to express her concerns. Since this property does not have full time security, I advised her to call local authorities after hours if the problem continued. I never heard back from her after that conversation. She never mentioned any of the other claims to me, ever. The other claims are the result of false expectations. We don't advertise luxurious conditions in this unit, and one should not expect that. For those conditions, we offer higher-priced resort condos. This is an efficient little townhouse, and is advertised as a "Great Location on a Budget," and Erika chose to stay here for the price and location. We do not attempt to mislead her or anyone else; offering as many photos as the site allows, and providing even more photos upon inquiring. The photos on the site show the kitchen and the parking area.
To Erika, I would like to offer our appologies and the opportunity to satisfy you. Your posting is quiet strong, expecially since we never had the opportunity to address your concerns before now. Please read the ads carefully when reserving a vacation spot. Not every property is going to have exactly what you want it to have, and you will usually pay more for more extra luxuries.
