Having lived in Germany for many years, it now feels like our second home. The Country is just beautiful, and the people are always so helpful.
So when we decided to re-visit our old home, we came across this beautiful house in the Mosel Valley and Luzia and Fritz were so helpful with the booking and providing information before our visit.
On our arrivial we were blown away by the house. There was so much space, the apartment was clean and everything little thing had been thought of. Truely a home from home.
The area is peaceful, relaxing and beautiful and Luzia, who can speak perfect English was very helpful and made us feel so welcome. There was even a bottle of their wine, which went down a treat after our journey.
It took us 4 hours to drive to Osann Village from Calais.
We had very pleasant weather, bearing in mind that the UK were having awful storms while we were in Germany.
The Mosel River is easily accessible with plenty of places to visit and activities to keep you fully occupied. The food is delicious, not to mention the wine.
All in all the perfect holiday. It is not often that everying is just right, but the accommmodation, location, food, weather, wine, activities, sites were just right.
