Located on the 40 ft. cliff, just above secluded Cupecoy Beach, these condos are unique in St. Maarten as the only luxury mid-rise homes to be located right by the sea. Villa 'C'est la Vie' is an $800,000 penthouse unit and the entire roof is a 1,500 sq. ft. partially covered, completely private deck. The condo has full ocean front views throughout, and is just a few steps away from the spiral staircase down to the beach.

Leave the sliding doors open at night and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves rolling onto the beach, just below. The 8 inch poured concrete walls, guarantee a tranquil stay.

After checking in at the guard gate, you will enter the handmade cobblestone street and be surrounded by lush landscaping and 24 hour, on-site security.

Enjoy all three swimming pools, and the private beach. Covered parking is provided and is accessible via the elevator, located just out the front door of the unit.

Just a two minute walk, is the Atlantis Casino complex, which includes world class gaming seven days a week. There are five gourmet restaurants surrounding the casino and several mid-priced restaurants, which are also very good.

This three bedroom, two bath penthouse unit (the only three bedroom penthouse unit on the property) features a gourmet kitchen, with 'Profile' stainless appliances and beautiful granite countertops. Appliances include a standard / convection oven, microwave, glass top stove, dishwasher, side by side fridge with icemaker, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Preparing fresh local seafood is a joy, with the Calphalon cookware, fully stocked kitchen, and gas BBQ grille.

The master bedroom has an ocean view and private bath. The second large bedroom has a shared bath. The third bunk bedroom is great for children and contains a double bed on the bottom and a single on top.

The bathrooms feature rainfall shower heads for a tropical experience and both include opening skylights to accommodate the ocean breeze. The entire unit has tile floors and all of the furniture was purchased new in 2005 and has rarely been used. There are two TVs, VCRs and DVD players and a CD boom box. The main room has a new 48', Hi Def, LED, flat screen TV with Blue-Ray disc player.

We also have some nice original island maps and paintings for your enjoyment. The centerpiece is a large original painting by Sir Roland Richardson - St. Martin's leading artist.

The unit was totally refurnished in 2012. You will not feel like you are walking into a rental unit!

About Chuck Johnson

Our family moved to St. Martin in the late 1970's. While we primarily reside in Austin, TX, we enjoy spending a couple of months each year in our beautiful condo in St. Martin. Our children have spent every Christmas in St. Martin for almost 20 years and it is very much our second home.

After many years of visiting our family in St. Martin, we came to know the island very well. As soon as we learned that condos were to be built in beautiful Cupecoy, we were one of the very first to purchase, pre-construction. This location is very unique and beautiful.

What makes this condo unique

We love to walk on the private beach in front of the condo, with a glass of Champagne and a Cuban cigar at sunset. A nap on the private upper deck, in the hammock is a daily ritual. Bring some good books, or go mountain biking and scuba diving. You can be as relaxed or busy as you want to. We also enjoy the numerous world class restaurants on the island. Many of which are very close by.

Wonderful Stay!

We want to tell you how much we enjoyed and loved living in your condo space.

its so pretty, the views, OMG , I miss having my morning tea on the balcony and watching the cruise ships go into port every day.

We had the best time. So loved our stay on the island.

You were right the best beach is around the corner , Mullet Bay, we went there twice, along with Orient Beach, Baie Rouge ( pretty but too rought ) had a lovely walk along it, and we enjoyed the beach in Philipsburg with shopping in between of course.

We enjoyed all our dining experiences, everything was just perfect.

The weather, HOT HOT HOT, someday we were grateful for a few clouds to give us a break for a few minutes.

Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us.

We hope we can go back in the future.

Fabulous Vacation!

We arrived home last night. I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thanks for renting us your wonderful place in paradise. It was hard waking up this morning without hearing the sound of the sea or seeing the sunny sky or the azure ocean. Instead there are grey skies and lots of snow. C’est la vie......sigh.

We really enjoyed our time in your condo in Cupecoy. The accommodations were great and we loved the breathtaking view, sunsets, beach, sea and close proximity to everything. The restaurant Fig across the street was excellent and my husband had lots of fun and luck in the nightly poker games at Atlantis.

Romantic Getaway

We had a fabulous vacation on beautiful St. Martin - something we have always wanted to do. Your condo has the best view and location for a stay here. Cupecoy was quite peaceful and friendly and the location was perfect for easy trips to Marigot and Phillipsburg. We had a huge thunderstorm on our last night, but played hearts and spades to the sounds of the rain, thunder and laughter (so glad you had cards in the condo). Thank you for sharing your home with us!
