Beautiful Sunsets

We had them everynight of our stay and one night some dolphins made it even better by swimming across as the sun melted into the gulf.
The condo was the perfect place for my husband and I but would easily accomodate a few more people. In about 20 paces you were on a very uncrowded beach! There are a few restaurants close by so if you don't feel like cleaning up and going in you can call in a take out order, pick it up in about 15 minutes, and eat on the beach if you want. I loved the baked stuffed shrimp from Turtles Restaurant. The Turtles pub next door was good too.
Next time I won't take so many clothes but I will take some laundry detergent since the washer/dryer is just 15 steps away.
We didn't go far from the beach and when we did it was about being casual and comfortable. A day trip to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens was lovely and then on up to St Armand Circle for lunch and shopping if you like that sort of thing. Crab 'n Fin was very good for lunch with indoor/outdoor seating.
The pizza place, I think it was called City's Inc., was good and I dare anybody to eat more than one slice! It was so loaded with goodies that it took us a week to eat one pizza! Anyway, hope this helps somebody. I know I will, and already have rec'd to friends and family.
P.S. I do rec'd renting an umbrella for your stay. There is a place on Midnight Pass that has them for $25 per week.
50 + sunscreen too!
