Easy to get to, hard to leave: In the heart of the Mount Snow Valley, this house is in view of the southernmost major ski resort in Vermont--or is it the biggest ski resort in Southern Vermont--and an easy drive from New York City and Boston (and an even shorter drive if you're flying into Albany or Hartford). Just 20 miles from the Brattleboro exit on Interstate 91, it is also a mere 21 miles from Bennington. Supermarkets, specialty stores, antique shops, ski/snowboard sales and rentals; and everything else you may need is right close by. Native Vermont arts and crafts, cheeses and maple sugar products are all around. Also: the renowned Marlboro Music Festival, the Vermont Blues Festival, the Deerfield Valley Blueberry Festival, Mt. Snow's two seasonal Brewers' Festivals plus Oktoberfest, Mt. Snow's Bike Festival featuring world class riders and a new Women's Biathlon.
