Charming cottage with unique history and lake view that is close to the action but situated in Huron, a place with small town charm . Remodeled in 2004 and used by owners as a guest house. Nice public beaches with parks, walking trails, lighthouse with pier, ferries to the Lake Erie Islands, and Cedar Point minutes away. Avoid Cedar Point traffic by traveling 'the back way'. Great local restaurants with outdoor seating and free Saturday and Sunday night concerts at the Boat Basin. Enjoy the private heated in-ground pool located on the property. Owners are knowledgeable of area. Easy access to I-90 and I -80.

Learn about the lake by visiting maritime museums in Sandusky and Vermilion. Attend the Huron Playhouse, Ohio's oldest summer theater. Soak up the sun and swim at Lake Front Park or Nickel Plate Beach. Watch sunsets over the lake. Visit Put in Bay or Kelley's Island for the day. Travel to Marblehead and see the oldest lighthouse on the Great Lakes. Beradi's. Marconi's, I'5's , the Angry Bull, Amaroni's , and the Sand Bar serve good food at reasonable prices, as well as the Huron Pizza House and Jim's Pizza Box. Sawmill Creek Lodge offers fine dining and shopping. Venture into Cleveland just 45 minutes away and tour The Rock and Roll Museum and world class museums.

Our family of 4 stayed here in the summer of 2007. The Ryan's were wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. The place was very clean and has two bathrooms which is a plus. We like having a separate room from our kids and that is exactly what this place has to offer. After a long day at Cedar Point, we were able to cool down in the swimming pool. I would most definitely stay here again.
