My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo. It is a very clean, well appointed unit. Everything in it is of high-quality and we felt right at home. Destin is beautiful, with a ton of great restaurants. If you like to shop there's plenty of stores within close proximity. If available this will be our "home away from home" on our next visit to Destin.

Awesome Spring Break

My family and I had a wonderful time in Destin for this year's spring break. Not only did we have perfect weather for 6 days straight, the room was beautiful! I would highly recommend this unit to everyone. It was immaculate. Very clean and updated decor. The kitchen was well furnished and the living room was very comfortable. It just had that homey, comfortable feeling. Oh yes and loved the master bath!!

Don is a super nice guy to work with. We had all of the informaton we needed for the condo well before our visit. All of the details were covered. Access to the parking ramp on the 3rd floor was ideal. We never had to use an elevator:)

Our favorite restaurants in Destin are The Backporch and The Crab Trap! Yummy seafood and fun atmospheres. Destin is a great place to visit and hard to leave!!

Relaxing week on the beach!

My wife and I had a wonderful week at the resort. At first we were reluctant to share our beach space with the "spring breakers" but soon embraced the enthusiasm of youth! We spent each day walking the beach, enjoying the heated indoor/outdoor pool, eating in the great restaurants, and just plain relaxing. Although the weather was a bit cool (60's), the view of the Gulf and the wonderful white sand was spectacular! The condo was well kept and up-to-date and very comfortable. We especially liked the easy parking lot shared with Wyndham resort. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were spacious and accessible. We definitely want to come back and see more. I would like to thank you for being gracious hosts and providing a lifetime of memories!

Excellent Beach Vacation

We had a great time in Destin at Don & Joy's Gulf Front Retreat…..wish that we could have stayed even longer! Don was a pleasure to work with and exceptionally accomodating. Our beach vacation was disrupted by the threat of Hurricane Isaac. Don was so nice as to text us with weather updates prior to our arrival. The condo was recently updated, very clean, and well decorated. Having 2 king sized beds was a plus for two couples - very comfy. It was amply stocked with kitchenware and towels - made it feel like home. This was our first stay at Don & Joy's condo; the only thing that I was worried about was the location across the street from the beach, but honestly it was easier and quicker to get to the beach than other condos that we have stayed at that were located directly on the beach. The view from the condo was excellent - great view of pool and beach. The balcony is a good size. Third level parking made unloading/loading quick & simple. Easy access to shopping and dining. Catholic church is only a couple of blocks from the condo. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and are already starting to plan our return for next year's vacation.
