Three-year old Lakeside home, beautiful views of the Lake out of every room in the house. Cottage features furnishings, linens, cooking utensils, three satellite tvs, exquisite custom kitchen, etc. Sit on the large screened-in porch and enjoy the peacefulness of the lake and beautiful sunsets. There are many things to do in the area such as:

Boating, fishing and swimming are prime water sports. Great fishing off homeowners dock and large gazebo for fun and games. Owner loves to fish and catches all kinds of fish off the dock. i.e., Bream, Bass, Catfish, Crappie

Telephones are provided in each bedroom and greatroom. Long distance calling is free. Wireless internet service.

Located on a point, you will feel secluded on this large water front lot. There are over 300 feet of panoramic lake front, a boat ramp, dock and gazebo. The house is 1700sf and is filled with luxuries, very comfortable furniture, quality bedding, internet service, stainless steel kitchen appliances, , a beautiful screened-in porch with decorative porch furniture.

Whether you decide to come for the great fishing at this end of Lake Murray; or, just sit back and relax in our cozy cottage, we feel your stay will be one to remember.

Cleaning fees are included in the rates. We ask that you leave the cottage the way you found it as close as possible.

One pet (dog) up to twenty lbs. is allowed after cleared through owner at the time reservation is made. Pet must be well behaved, groomed, and flea & tick protected. The fee for bringing one pet is $75. No other animals-- dogs, cats, birds, etc. --are allowed by renters or visitors. If pets are brought to the cottage not preapproved by cottage owner, $150 security dep will be maintained by owner of cottage.

About Mary Miano

John and Mary Miano live in Aiken, SC. John is a retired builder and Mary is a retired realtor and nurse. We were married at ages 17 and 18 and have just celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary.

Why Mary Miano chose Leesville

The property is a quite get away with beautiful views of the lake. This is where we come to fully relax and have fun fishing, or having a fishfry for friends at the Gazebo. the Gazebo is fully lighted so one can enjoy day or night time entertainment. We are very proud of our cottage and want those who rent from us to enjoy it as much as we do. We have had many wonderful guests at our cottage, several of which have returned two-three times.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage just turned 3 yrs old as of March 2013. It's heart of pine flooring throughout and custom decorating make it a pleasure to spend time there. Not to mention the beautiful custom kitchen with all the latest amenities. The views from the kitchen to the screen porch are breathtaking of the lake and the sunset.

Have fun swimming, boating, fishing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, birdwatching, walking, and exploring the lake as well as the nearby Big Saluda and Little Saluda Rivers. The lot has many nice hardwood trees. Nearby golf courses (Persimmon Hill C.C., Mid-Carolina C.C. & Ponderosa C.C.). The Augusta National (The Masters Golf Tournament) is located approximately one hour away. There are also numerous restaurants, shopping centers, antique stores, drive-in movie theater in nearby Monetta, small towns, metropolitan airport, and the Newberry Opera House approx. 15 miles away from cottage. There are several relaxed restaurants on the lake within a 5-10 mile radius by car; Lake Shack, Spinners. Mac's across the Hollywood bridge from 11-2pm.

One half of the rental deposit is due within 8 days of acceptance of the rental agreement in order to confirm reservation. Final deposit is due three weeks before your arrival date.

If the reservation date is imminent, Owner and Renter will work out terms of payment. We allow one pet under 20 lbs. for an additional $75 if the pet is preapproved by owner. Terms are: flea protection, well behaved dog, dog must not be left alone in cottage at any time without owners present, owners must bring pet bed, pet is not allowed on beds.

Quiet and Peaceful

This is a beautiful home on Lake Murray. Our family rented this cottage for two weeks. We bought some inflatable rafts and floated around on the lake and it was so relaxing. My mother in law joined us on our trip and enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading her book. The beds are very comfortable and the amenities are impressive, we even had a few cookouts using the grill. We felt very comfortable staying here. John and Mary are very kind and accommodating hosts and I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for some peace and quiet on their vacation. Oh, and did I mention all of the fish we saw jumping around? We don't fish, but anyone who does would be in heaven here.

Creating Memories

My husband and I rented the lake house over the Memorial Day weekend in hopes of creating some special memories for ourselves and our three grandchild, we succeeded. The house was perfect. Open and air, warm yet elegant. All three of our grandchild caught their first fish of the dock by the gazebo. We also had a watermelon seed spitting contest and all I can say is thank God for the lake. We will never forget the looks on the kids faces when they got to experience these first time events, nor will they.

Mary and John were wonderful host and we are very grateful for the hospitality. We plan on coming back very soon. I would highly recommend renting this home to anyone who asks!

Beautiful relaxing cottage

Mary & John are the best hosts to work with and the cottage is certainly luxurious but homey and relaxing. The screened porch was great for morning coffee and meals. The dock and lakeside pagoda are perfect for "drowing worms" . It is certainly everything and more stated by Mary & John. We had a super time. The Lake Shak Pub and Roma's Pizza are great places to go. We will be back.

Relaxing time at the lake

We had a very relaxing "girl's weekend" at the lake. The furnishings throughout the house are luxurious and made us feel right at home. We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed - plus some. The lake front porch was perfect for settling down for a nap or spending time with your favorite book. The view of the lake was idea and it was very quiet in the little cove of water we enjoyed. We will definately be back for another visit to this cottage.
