The vacation bungalow and the apartments are very suitable for tourists who want to discover this land and its inhabitants. A house-keeper takes care for the daily cleaning in all the accommodations. The guests in the bungalow can also enjoy an extra service, namely their meals can be prepared by the house-keeper. Upon request, the guests in the apartments can enjoy this service as well. All the renters have free access to the beach which is approx. 1000 m away. On the beach, you will find WC, shower and deck chairs. Drinks and small snacks can be bought there as well. We are the only private owner in Jamaica who also offers riding facilities for your holiday. Not only do we make beach trips with our own horses, but we also travel up to the close mountains. From there you can enjoy the view over the cliffy region and the silence.

Notes: Sylvie, our good heart will pamper our guests with Jamaican delicacies, for which she gets or receives the ingredients. She cleans all the rooms daily so that all you have to do is relax. We take care of the rest. The bedrooms are equipped with ceiling ventilators. In the garden, across the beautiful arboretum, you will find a very small pool, in which you can relax. The pool area cannot be seen from outside, so that you can freely sunbath by the pool.

Special features: For the ones who enjoy flying, we have something interesting to offer, namely you can book sightseeing flights in a UL-plane from October until April. Even riders are welcome here. We have horses which you can take for a ride on the beach or into the mountains. And what rider hasn’t dreamed to enter the sea on a horseback? Here this dream can become true. Comfortable trousers (e.g. Jeans) and sneakers for riding should not miss from your luggage.

Golf: There is a wonderful 18-hole golf course which can be reached within 10 minutes on foot. As the sun usually shines in Jamaica, you can use the course the whole year through.

Home away from Home

Just returned last weekend from Jamaica. This was our second visit to Rainbow Villa. Although we had initially booked the apartment we were unexpectedly upgraded to the 3 bdrm villa. What a pleasant surprise.
Axel and Monika cater to our every request from helping us with our shopping to providing personalized tours at reasonable rates. Shopping is close by, the beach is easily within walking distance. The beach itself is clean and well maintained. If you just want to cool off in the late pm the little pool suffices quite nicely. We saw the work being done on the new pool and I'm sure it will be very enjoyable once completed.
Can't say enough about Sylvie, the housekeeper. Wanted to bring her home with me. And there is Courtney, who helps with everything from stocking the fridge with beer(reasonably priced), to tours, maintaining the grounds, etc. Would check in daily to ask if we needed anything. How nice is that. The villa is clean, comfortable and well equipped for cooking, relaxing and having friends over for dinner.
There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance and a Sports Bar with live music also close by. Always felt safe and very much at home during our stay. Can't say enough about our experience at Rainbow Villa. Do try it for yourself.

My home away from home

I work for American Airlines and have travelled to Jamaica every year since 1990. Up until 2005 i've been doing the Resort thing. While resorts are nice they are very expensive. Rainbow has been my replacement to the Resorts and I proudly brag that it's my own. The property is nicely located and the keepers are very nice and helpful. Grocery stores, resturants, bars the Beach and other attractions are near by. The Guest house is Clean well kept and is on very inexpensive way to have a nice Family Vacation. I visit about 3 times a year and highly recomend this propertly to everyone. DJ Darryl
Owner's Response: Our future renters maybe like to know that we just started to setup a bigger pool. For our guests who spend their vacation at our property every year the new pool will be a surprise. And since the main road has walkways now, the future guests can reach the beach, shops, bars and restaurants very safe and easy.

es war einfach wieder schön!

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und haben jeden Tag genossen. Sind umsorgt worden, hatten lustige Abende. Unsere Gastgeber haben sich super gekümmert und waren bei allem immer für uns da. Das Haus war sauber und gut ausgestattet wie immer!
Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal. Und wir freuen uns schon auf den großen Pool den wir ja im Bau schon sehen durften!

Owner's Response: Der neue große Pool ist fertig und es macht wirklich Spaß darin einige Runden zu schwimmen. Dank des schönen Wetters hat das Wasser eine sehr angenehme Temperatur. In der Hängematte gleich neben dem Schwimmbecken kann man herrlich relaxen. Ihr werdet es ja bald selbst ausprobieren können.

Hübsches Haus in optimaler Lage...

Ich war für 1 Woche Gast im schönen Haus an der Runaway Bay. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und bieten zudem Rundflüge mit dem eigenen Ultraleichtflieger an (unbedingt machen ist einfach klasse). Wer lieber ohne Motorengeräusche die Umgebung erkunden möchte, kann mit dem Pferd organisierte Touren mit der Besitzerin in die Hügellandschaft von Runaway-Bay unternehmen.
Wie man sieht ist für jeden was dabei. Auch für Wasserratten ist gesorgt. Als Gast des Hauses hat man Zugang zu einem Privatstrand (nutzen auch andere Hotelgäste), wo man sehr gut schnorcheln oder schwimmen gehen kann.

Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet, absolut sauber und mit Duschwanne und einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet. Zudem ist eine Terrasse vorhanden die zum Relaxen und Sonnenbaden einlädt.

Wer nicht auf Hotelburgen steht, Land und Leute in Jamaika entdecken möchte, für den ist dieses Feriendomizil der optimale Platz.
