This was my first venture to the poconos. The house was exactly as described and the view of the lake from the desk was fabulous. During the week, the area is very quiet. It is also quite hilly, so you can get plenty of excecise just walking around the community.

Altough the description says it's a minute walk to the swimming area, that's not quite true. Unless there is another one, it's about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away and very hilly. The swimming area was rather dinky and not that great. I went to two state parks (20-30 minutes away) to go hiking, biking, and swimming. They were very nice and free.

The property itself was lovely: very clean and well maintained. The owner was very easy to deal with as far as arranging payment (they take credit cards), and access to the property.

I had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider renting this property again and recommending it to friends.
