We were there for three nights and we felt as much at home as we have ever felt. We have several vacation homes and we stay in lots of vacation houses and we have to say this one is super. It was clean, comfortable and a great price.The owner and manager could not have been any easier to work with. The house offers lots of privacy, a great setting, and a chance to be outdoors without being in the direct heat or rain, the porches are wonderful. The foliage adds so much to the place, we sat out and listened to the rain the first night and the frogs the next two. The tap of the golf club hitting the ball was a nice quiet touch.We never stay in hotels anymore, for years now we have relied on renting a home away from home and this was the closest to that we have ever been!, and like I said we do a lot of staying away from home so for families like ours it is nice to know that you can come into a place such as yours and be comfortable for a few days. We drove to Mt Mitchell one day and ate there, had a great meal. One day we drove down to Linville and Little Switzerland, two great outings. My husband cooked all our other meals on the back porch on the grill, table was nice, seats a full family with no problems. We enjoyed the rockers and cushioned chairs out back. And another thing, the unlimited long distance calls came in good for keeping up with business. We will certainly recommend your place.
