We just returned home from renting this amazing villa! Ileana was very prompt in responding to any questions we had upon arriving. The photos aren't nearly as beautiful as the actual house, every bathroom felt like you were in a suite and lots of closet space. The house has a very private feel to it and the view of the golf course never gets old. This villa has one of the larger pools compared to the other villas in Las Palmas.

The Resident Beach Club was only a five minute walk away and the staff is very welcoming. Great food and great drinks, our kids really enjoyed the menu (ages 4-17). They have paddle, surf and boogie boards to rent. The town is just blocks outside of the main gate and about a 10 minute golf cart ride. There are many great restaurants to chose from and most of them have happy hour specials. They are all nested on the beach so you are able to grab an afternoon drink and do some shopping with the local beach vendors (whom were never pushy or aggressive). For a really special night out I would suggest Si Senior - the food was TO DIE FOR and the prices were reasonable.

The grounds throughout the entire Punta Mita community are beautiful.

Our transportation to and from the airport ended up being almost twice as much as we were quoted once it was arranged through the concierge. We had a party of 9 with lots of luggage so we needed two vans and it ended up being $565 (they also charge you are $25 fee for stopping at the store on your way into town). In the grand scheme of things it wasn't a huge deal but unexpected fees can be annoying.

I would love to rent this home again. Imelda did a great job of keeping the house tidy and being very helpful with meal preparation. Illeana was very informative upon our arrival. Thanks, Illeana!

The perfect get away

We had a weeding to attend in Punta Mita. My wife and my two sons and daughter (with their wife's or husband) came with us. Imelda and her presence at the house made for a perfect trip. Best vacation with all our family that we have had in years. We will ba back

Mi Casa Punta Mita - at least for a week

Great Spring Break

I reluctantly went to Punta Mita for Spring Break but was surprised by what a great spot it is. We loved the villa. It was well decorated and very well maintained by Imelda and the owners. It was more than enough space for our family of 5, though we spent much more time at the Beach Club than at the villa during the day. The weather was spectacular. Having the Four Seasons and the St. Regis so nearby is an added amenity though I don't feel like we missed a thing by staying here instead of at one of the resorts. The only hiccup we had was that the golf cart was not working properly. But after an email to the owner and a quick response, we had one rented and they took care of the cost. Overall, it is a great spot. Truly relaxing and well worth the visit.

Beautiful home in a great area

Thanks Ileana for sharing your beautiful home with my three children, my wife and I. Your home is beautifully decorated and has everything that we needed for an amazing stay. I cannot think of one thing that was missing. The backyard is beautiful with the pool and hottub and lots of areas to lounge comfortably. Our kids split their time between the pool and the beautiful beaches. Imelda was our housekeeper/host for our stay and she was very helpful. The place was always spotless. The sunsets were beautiful. We had not heard anything about Punta Mita but it is beautiful with spectacular rugged shoreline and amazing beaches nestled inside. The golf cart was great for travelling to the tennis club or the residents beach club which has pools, a great restaurant and a play area for the kids. The gated area of Punta Mita has about 7 developments (of which Las Palmas is one) and two outstanding hotels, The Four Seasons and the St. Regis. The grounds are pristine and although I didn't golf, the courses look spectacular with one course having the only natural island green hole in the world. Just up the coast is the cool town of Sauyalita which is a surf town. They had a world class surfing competition the Saturday we arrived. Lots of fun and the people are very friendly. The town of Punta Mita just outside the gates has some greats restaurants right on the beautiful beach. You will not be disappointed with a decision to stay at this house and the beautiful area of Punta Mita.
