We rented this lovely property for graduation week 5/14. Several friends and family members stayed at the home. It's a beautiful property with so much space -- plenty of room for a large group. The entire house is furnished beautifully and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners have thought of every detail to ensure a perfect stay.
The views from the deck and yard are amazing!!!!!
We are so happy we chose this home for our trip and look forward to returning soon!
We stayed at Cap du Blanc during the week of our son's wedding. We had a number family members staying with us. This property was PERFECT for our needs and is absolutely beautiful - we will definitely stay here again.
Stayed here with a group of close friends for the weekend, and was not disappointed! It was a little chilly, but we used that as an excuse to use both fire places, and it was very cozy!
House had everything we needed - we cooked big dinners both nights and never were at a loss for anything in the kitchen - next time we'll just be sure to visit a grocery store before we get to the house, since it was a bit of a trip to get to one once we were settled in. Hope to return next year!
This was the 3 rd property we've rented through vrbo for our family of 13. Each one has been good, but this was spectacular. The quiet town of Little Compton was just what we needed to escape from our hectic lives.
Jim, the owner, was on hand to handle any little question we had, and solve our problems for us. There were plenty of supplies, I.e. games, kites, cards, towels and even some spare suntan lotion to use.
Great privacy for all, and cooking utensils galore. We took advantage of the large dining room to eat in on four of our nights. It's a lot more fun cooking in someone else's kitchen!
We liked the cove area and did some swimming there, and made s'mores right on the beach in the fire pit. A life memory!
The house is comfortable and inviting. We felt at home from the first moment. Parking for all 4 cars on site. Absolutely no complaints, and I'm a complainer!!
What an amazing property!! It's gorgeous inside and out with beautiful details around every corner. The owner was so helpful and welcoming to our group. It the perfect place to spend time with your group. There was nothing more we could have asked for. Beautiful and so comfortable.
We're hoping for a longer stay next time!
We just spend a week at this beautiful property in Little Compton. It so far surpassed what we had expected (and we expected a lot). The house is located at the very end of the point, with a full, uninterrupted ocean view from every front room. We enjoyed quiet family dinners as well as a lovely barbeque with friends. Jim and Julie have thought of everything to make your stay feel as comfortable and home-like as possible. We could not get enough of the view. The house is a bit remote - which we really enjoyed - but plan your shopping trips so you can stay in the house as much as possible instead of spending time on the roads. We took long runs, walks to the beach, and many trips up to Providence where we had several events to attend. The weather was stormy while we were there, but the house works perfectly in good weather or bad, so we actually enjoyed the (unusual) mix of cloudy and sunny. Truly a very, very special place.
