Located on long and sandy Moody Beach (the private, northern end of Ogunquit Beach), this cottage is a perfect get-away for one or two people or for a small family. Walk directly from the yard to the beach. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the upstairs deck or at the table on the shared outside patio in the yard. Play in the surf or in the sand. Walk to Ogunquit -- or, for the ambitious -- walk to Perkins Cove via the beach and the famous Marginal Way. Or follow the ocean to the north and spend a few hours on the jetty at Wells Harbor, watching for seals. Conveniently located only 90 minutes from Boston and 45 minutes from Portland, the cottage is a great base from which to enjoy the local attractions - theater, music and arts festivals, concerts, miniature golf. It's also a great place to just sit and read or watch the waves.
