This 750sqft apartment is located on 3rd floor (2nd French floor) of a XIXth century building in Northern Marais, a few steps away from the charming Square du Temple and 2 blocks away from the famous rue de Bretagne and its amazing open air market. Fully equipped, this 2 BR/2BA can sleep up to 6 persons, with 2 queen size beds and a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room.
The apartment contains a bright and large living/dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen, and two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom or shower room. One of the bedroom can be fitted with one queen size bed or two single beds, depending on your needs.
The entire apartment has been newly remodeled in Winter 2008 with careful attention to restore the apartment's original features (parquet floor, moldings, high ceilings) while at the same time providing all modern amenities and conveniences. It has been professionally decorated with a mix of modern comfortable furniture and some carefully chosen French antiques.
The living room area is equipped with a very comfortable (and easy-to-handle...) sofa bed. A splendid 'meuble de metier' found at the flea market can be used as a desk when checking your emails or writing some postcards... Cable TV (with CNN International and BBC World among others) and DVD player, hidden in another elegant antique piece of furniture, are also available in the living room.
Our large dining table can easily welcome 8 to 10 people, which will enable you to have friends coming over for dinner !
The first bedroom, overlooking the street, is nevertheless quiet as traffic at night is close to zero... It is equipped with large built-in closets, a queen size bed, antique nightstand and has an en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom, overlooking the building courtyard, is also equipped with large built-in closets, a TV and has its own very traditional en-suite bathroom. The beds can be adjusted as a queen size bed or two single beds depending on your needs.

The Marais is an area that you'll want to visit every time you're in Paris. You'll find so many reasons to go : Centre Georges Pompidou, this amazing designed building with a lot more to offer than just a museum, la Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, a must for contemporary photos exhibits, la Place des Vosges ....
The Marais is also and mainly a place to hang out choosing the right place to have a proper lunch, wandering around the narrow streets and peeking into private courtyard and private mansions
This apartment is great for a family. The location is close to the Metro and walking distance to great restaurants and shops in the Marais. We walked back from Notre Dame one evening -- a mile or so -- but a nice walk during the day and at night.
The apartment was large -- we had five (three kids) -- we had more than enough room. Gaela was very helpful throughout our stay making sure that we had everything we needed -- transportation to train station, restaurants, etc. We would recommend it and go back.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in the Marais. We are a family of 5 and found the lay-out and the decor very comfortable and clean. The wi-fi worked great-not a complaint from the teenagers. There is a lift in this building. Within a few minutes walk is the lovely Square du Temple and a shopping street with markets, a wonderful fromagerie, wine shop, awarding winning boulangerie and great cafes. A major metro stop, Republique, is only a few blocks away. Sophie and her team are so accommodating and helpful. I can't wait to return someday.
This is a spacious and clean apartment in the Marais. Our family of two adults and three kids were very comfortable. Very close to the Republique Metro station and plenty of nearby markets and restaurants. Gaela was exceptionally gracious and helpful. I highly recommend it.
My husband, 3 teenage children and I stayed in this apartment last fall. It was perfect! It was clean and comfortable and located on a quiet street but very close to restaurants and shops in the Marais. The metro was 1/2 block away and it was easy to get to anywhere in Paris. We were met at the airport by a private driver and driven to the apartment. We were met at the apartment, shown around and given an overview of the neighborhood. Gaela was very helpful throughout our stay. She made dinner reservations for us as well. I had always stayed in hotels prior to this trip, but loved the experience so much that I will be looking to stay in apartments when I travel again.
The location is great, love the Marais, close to metro access, walking distance to museums. The apartment is well decorated and has everything you need. Gaela, the manager was available at all time and gave us useful information, she even helped us with theater reservations. What a nice welcome we received.
We were in the heart of the Marais, a wonderful location for shopping and sightseeing. You are a short 2 minute stroll from some of the best boulangeries, restaurants, candy shops (Jacques Genin - AMAZING!!), etc. This apartment is stocked with everything you will need and is comfortable and suitable for 4 people (2 bedrooms both with their own private baths) or 5-6 if someone . You can throw the windows open at night, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the Parisian street below. We came all the way from Boston and would do it again in a heartbeat! And, Gaela was absolutely amazing and so incredibly helpful from start to finish!!!
