The wetlands area attracts bird-watchers with a great variety of birds including one of the greatest concentrations of bald eagles in North America.

The Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway, one of only nine All-American roads in the nation, runs right by this ranch and offers dramatic views around every bend. The Winema National Forest is 20 miles away, Lake of the Woods, 20 miles, the Klamath River Canyon, 28 miles, Sky Lakes Wilderness Area 35 miles and the town of Ashland 60 miles are all in a short driving distance. The nearby town of Klamath Falls offers a variety fine dining, shopping, art galleries, medical center, museums, symphony concerts, live music, antique shops and more.
