OCEAN/BEACHFRONT WITH MAGICAL TOWN VIEWS

I stayed at this property in August with my husband and 2 year old son. We chose it for it's location (we have family nearby) and proximity to the water. The property was really great and exactly as you see it on the website - clean, amazingly well equipped and the location was perfect. The views were amazing and it was a very relaxing stay. The open plan layout of downstairs was good for us with a small child and Rose was very accommodating, providing a stair gate and bedguard for his safety. The AC was very welcome in the summer heat. Only small thing which didn't worry us but might if the house was at full capacity - the shower/bath downstairs is not in operation, only the WC and sink. I'm not sure it's advertised as a full bathroom anyway but as it's there it would be nice if it was functional.
Rockport itself is a charming little town with lots of nice shops and places to eat. The beaches are ok, the best ones are out of town though in neighbouring Gloucester, about a 15 minute drive. All in all one of the most relaxing family vacations we have taken.

House was spacious, well-equipped, and extremely clean. Exactly as listed. Perfect location across the street from Back Beach with breath-taking sea and town views. The owners were extremely accomodating and gracious. If you're going to Rockport, this is THE place to stay. Highly recommend!!!

Our 2 week vacation at 60 Beach St. In Rockport last week was truly heaven on earth. We had seen the house from previous visits to Rockport, so we knew the location was wonderful, but until we actually moved in we had no idea how absolutely perfect it would turn out to be. To begin, Rose and Guy greeted us with the warmest welcome and a quick tour of the house and grounds. As in other vacation rentals, we expected to hear all about what was locked up, what not to touch, what not to do, and what doors not to open. But, quite to the contrary, Rose opened cupboards, showed us coffee, and every condiment, and said, "help yourself". We had all the paper products and laundry detergent we needed, along with shampoo, sunscreen, and body lotions. not only that, but we were provided with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys. There was even a closet with board games for adults and children, DVDs and CDs.

The bedrooms were very comfortable. Our view from the master
bedroom window was incredible. Without moving a muscle we opened our eyes and had the most magnificent view of the ocean. We hardly ever closed the window shades!

The location was so perfect. We walked to town and to both front and back beach. Halibut State Park is just a short drive away and was one of our favorite spots.

We loved every minute of our stay and wouldn't change a thing!
