Alpine Village Resort is located in the beautiful community of Swansea Point just outside of Sicamous, BC. It is situated accross the street from the public beach and boat launch of Mara Lake, which feeds into the Shuswap lakes.

Suite 3 is a three bedrooms suite: master - bed King with French door walk out to balcony, queen bed and twin bed with additional pull-out to make a king bed and crib - bedding, duvet and pillows provided. Full bath with jet tub and stand up shower.

8 Minute drive to Sicamous for boat rentals, shopping and restaurants. 30 min to Salmon Arm, 40 min to Vernon. Second floor suite. No elevator. Please read through suite guide upon arrival for detailed list of activities in the area.

About The Owner

I live just outside Calgary, Alberta with my daughter Danika. I bought Alpine Village Resort in 2006. Alpine Village Resort was a camp ground with 7 cabins and 21 camping stalls and a house. We developed the property into 18 lots consisting of 4 cabins and 13 RV lots and our House, which are now all privately owned (of course we kept the house). We decided in 2008 to convert our large house into three suites to rent out to the public. It was a fantastic experience for us.

Why The Owner chose Shuswap Lake

Swansea Point is a beautiful location; far from the noise of the Highway, secluded in its own little world. Yet we are only minutes away from Sicamous to get all the necessities. There are lots of mature trees, mountain and lake views. Plus the location to the lake/beach and boat launch is ideal. I fell in love right away. Once I am able to retire, my family will move here from Calgary.

What makes this house unique

We have the best beds! Guests comments have stated that they want to take our beds home with them. We have top quality mattress' and memory foam pillows. You will sleep better than at home!

A suite guide has been prepared describing all the activities in the area, maps, and other info to get the best out of your trip.

We are extremely close to the boat launch and we have a large parking spot for a boat trailer.

There are many quad and sled trails in the near vicinity. A 40 minute drive to one of the best ski hills in Revelstoke and 40 mintues to the ski hill in Vernon.

What a gorgeous place!!!!! I would totally recommend this place to everyone. Great for families, couples, or for a bunch friends to make some wonderful memories. I loved how close we were to the beach. And it's only a short drive to town. If your considering staying for a weekend you may want to reconsider and stay for at least a week. You won't want to leave.

Heaven sleep in a fantastic location!

I spent a very enjoyable weekend in this suite and can attest to both the beauty of the region, the home and the cloud-like heaven of the bed! Best sleep I've had in a long time! Also thought the children's room was very clever and a wonderful idea for families. The bathtub is tempting and I am sad I never had the chance for a soak. Perfect romantic suite as well! I am already dreaming of returning!

This suite was not only beautiful but also extremely comfortable to stay in. The beds are are wonderful and all the ammenities you require are provided. It is a 30 second walk to the lake and has a beautiful sunny deck to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks on.
