Nestled along Quonochotaug Pond, one of Rhode Island's most beautiful saltwater ponds, sits the private quiet community of Shady Harbor in Charlestown. This adorable waterfront cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The inlet on the side of the house hosts the private dock. Boats up to 20' are welcome. After a day of fishing, the wooden filet table atop the dock's ramp, can be used to protect the kitchen from fishy, smelly clean-ups. The house comes with beach passes/parking passes to the community's private beach. Get there by car or by boat. The pond's breachway gives you access to the Atlantic and Block Island, only 12 miles away. The huge deck overlooking the water gives you ample room to entertain. Sip coffee with an outdoor breakfast at sunrise or enjoy a cocktail at sunset. It's the best of all worlds. The perfect house for a family or a cozy cottage for a romantic getaway The house has satellite tv and internet access.

The house has all new bed linens. Included with the house are beach chairs, beach umbrella, outdoor shower, bicycles, clam rakes...everything for a fun filled getaway on the water! The backdoor ramp allows wheelchair access and well as the wide hallway to the back bedroom. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have a queen size bed. The 4th bedroom has a king. The walkout basement is designed for hours of fun with it's own full bathroom, refrigerator, pinball machine and foosball table for kids of all ages! All seasons are beautiful in Shady Harbor. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway. The only ones you'll have to share the water with are the harbor seals who move in for the winter!! The cottage is located on Shirley Drive Charlestown, RI 02813
