Enjoy waterfront living on Moore's Creek, just off the Piankatank River. Near Fishing Bay Yacht Club and minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. Brand new dock with fish cleaning station, electricity and water. Bring your boat, throw some crab pots overboard and enjoy steamed crabs tonight! Experience the wildlife and kayak on our deepwater creek. Fill up your coolers from our icemaker and take five minute boat ride to Piankatank for fishing, waterskiing. If you do not have a boat, rent ours. Our 19 foot Carolina Skiff center console is the perfect size to fish, catch crabs or just to cruise around in.

Large side yard for croquet or games.

Owners have decorated home with cottage charm and local artwork. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck overlooking the creek, an afternoon siesta in the hammock, and steamed oysters at the end of the day. Yes, we grow our own oysters at our dock!

Grocery store & West Marine conveniently located down the street. Local restaurants, gift shops, ATM, and seafood store minutes away.

Why The Owner chose Deltaville

Our family purchased this second home as a quick get away from the hectic life of the city. Many of our friends have homes here as well. It has a home town feeling with water access.

What makes this house unique

Since many of our friends have second homes in Deltaville, we enjoy visiting by boat rather than by car. There is something about visiting by boat. You are casual, wet and thirsty. If we need peace and quiet, we have it. If we need to get out and about we just jump in a boat and meet people on the water. It's a lifestyle. Either you are mountain people or water people. We are water people.

Perfect Deltaville vacation

We had another great stay at this peaceful, waterfront home in Deltaville. We loved it so much last year that we couldn't think of a better place to spend a week this year. The photos don't really do justice to the house, dock and creek. The kids especially enjoyed the boat, and all of the wildlife that we saw. The location is great, close to the grocery store in case you need to re-stock, but very private. Even the neighbors are great! The owners are very nice and very responsive, a pleasure to work with. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival, and they even checked in on us (by email) during our stay to make sure everything was OK. If you're looking for a relaxing get-away in a clean, well-maintained home, look no further!

Peaceful Serenity

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The only things we needed to bring were clothes and personal items - everything else from dishes to lifejackets and fishing poles were already there. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and taking the Skiff out on the Bay. We observed a blue heron while having moring coffee on the deck. The kids had a great time crabbing and fishing. They wanted to spend every possible moment on the dock or boat. We were all sad to leave and return to the hectic city life. We're already making plans to return.

This whimsically decorated cottage/waterfront home delighted all my senses. Nestled between the trees on the hillside of a quiet cove. I so hesitate in sending this out for anyone to read, because I really want to keep this hushed and to my self. Kayaking every day out of the cove onto the large river that bled into the Chesapeake Bay. Water then as far as I could see. Peaceful; eyes full of beauty; muscles relaxed; smiles abound. Thank you for sharing this treasure so close to our home in Richmond, Va. Sheila and Tom P.
