The Charming property offers newer hardwood floors throughout, new windows, an updated bathroom, front porch with bistro style seating area, and private rear yard with seating for 4-6, BBQ, and outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. 2 short blocks to community tennis courts (200 block of 21st) that are open to the public during day light hours!

(Don't miss the boogie boards and long board available in garage) A larger 2 car garage with 2 additional parking spaces on driveway. This home is ideally located a block from the beach, and walking distance to the Del Mar Fair Grounds and Del Mar Village.

About The Owner

Steve has lived in San Diego for 30 years, and California all his life. I too am a true Southern California native who has never lived far from the ocean. We have enjoyed living in Malibu, Marina Del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Encinitas and last but certainly not least beautiful Del Mar, California. Del Mar has managed to keep its wonderful beach charm, but offer a wide range of restaurant choices, and shopping experiences. It is rare to find a mega mansion in this beach community due to the strict building guidelines which has kept the town not only a pleasant place to visit, but a wonderful place to call home.

The Owner purchased this bungalow in 2006

We love Del Mar and all it has to offer, from Horse racing season, gorgeous beaches, great oceanfront restaurants, walking through Torrey Pines, biking, surfing, strolling on Cedros Design District, and so much more.

Prime Location - Nothing to do but relax!

We recently traveled here with our 1 year old son and could not be happier with our selection, we were so sad to have to come back to reality. The home was perfectly equipped, comfortable beds, wonderful perk having the laundry on site, darling patio and two car attached garage. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to navigate on foot or car. Literally one block from the beach and a short walk to the village.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

The only hesitation I have in writing this review is in giving away a secret. Our stay at this little cottage was fantastic and effortless. The owners have thought of everything for a comfortable stay ... from the basket that greeted us upon our arrival, to the outdoor space (shower, grill, and table), to the necessary beach items. Best of all, they were totally welcoming of our little doggie. The cottage is in a quiet area and it is a block to the beach. I never got the chance to meet the owner, but I wish I had. Very pleasant in every way. Thank you!! We will be back!!

Fantastic location right between soldona beach and the Del
Mar village great small restaurants everywhere . Our dogs had the best time at the dog beach just a quick walk from the cottage . Can't wait to go back !!

A Dog Paradise

We haven't decided who enjoyed our stay more...our dog or us! Such a comfortable, clean house with wonderful provisions! The strolls on the beach twice a day were such a delight and the weather was fantastic. Del Mar is just a short drive to downtown San Diego's main attractions. Don't miss the MIdway museum. Thank you, Dianne, for making our stay such a pleasant one.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic property in early January for each of the last three years and always look forward to returning. The location is unbeatable and the property is very well furnished and maintained. The property owners are friendly and responsive but are not at all intrusive. This is easily the best vacation rental value in Del Mar!
