Good...but for a few issues

The home itself is in a nice quiet location with direct access to the beach and that was great. The water was wonderful and the easy access made it simple to take the kids up and down several times a day. Very quiet except for some contruction going on across the water on another house. That was a bit annoying, but nothing the owners of this place could control. The home was well equipped with BBQ, TVs, cooking supplies, utensils, etc. One big problem was that the bed in the master bedroom had not be assembled correctly and kept literally falling apart when we tried to sleep in it. We ended up moving the mattress into the floor of the kitchen on the 2nd night just to get some rest! The "Lucy" that this place seems to be name for appears to be a dog...there is dog stuff everywhere...including dog hair on the couch, rugs, etc. If you are looking for a pet friendly spot...this would be it...if you have any issues with pet hair such as allergies or such...then not the place for you! There is nothing in walking distance, so plan to drive for groceries, outings, etc. Overall, a nice little home very near the water and at the time of year we were there it was very quiet and we almost had the beach area to ourselves.

Owner's Response: The cleaner who did such a poor job no longer cleans this house and we have not had a single cleaning complaint since. Dog hair in a house is completely unacceptable!The bed issue was resolved immediately and there is no further problem.
