Amazing Woodstock Chalet

Last week was my second time visiting the Ashewood House and I am very, very satisfied. I remember the first time coming into the house and seeing all the light and the warm, peaceful vibe (it was dark and cold outside - late fall). I fell in love with the place instantly, especially the sun room with those beautiful flowers, the amazing view and the comfortable couch.
Same thing I can say about the living room, this big, open space makes one feel free and open. One can enjoy some hot tea or chocolate near the fireplace when it's cold outside. The place is perfect for entertaining big companies with some movies, or some good music.
Most of all, I enjoyed the atmosphere that you can feel throughout the whole house - it is this calm and peaceful feeling, inspiring sometimes. The house and its vibe is very helpful for artists - me being a painter, I can tell it for sure.
Not only the house is magic, but also the surroundings. The forrest is charming, especially the little squirrels and the deers that you can see all around. It seriously feels like a fairy tale.
As for myself, I love to walk and to go on hikes, and this place is absolutely perfect for that. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the center of the town. We use to do it in the morning, to go for coffee to the local coffee shop, it's called Bread Alone.
I am a student in the United States now, I come from the Eastern Europe. It is soon a year since I left home and this house reminded me of it. Living in California now, we don't have a a chance to experience all the beauty of the 4 seasons, and I am glad I had some days of real Spring last week.
If you get to spend some time in the Ashewood House, you will not regret it, I assure you.
