Woodstock is a town that gathers many communities, starting with artists and finishing with wine lovers. If you are interested in art be sure to check out the great galleries of the town. If you are more into movies you have the choice o visiting a regular movie theater or an old days drive-in. Summertime is when Woodstock is open for various festivals. For the gourmands our town has a special cuisine at interesting restaurants and various farmers markets, as well as some wonderful wine that you could enjoy by paying a visit to some of the local wineries. But if you are one of those who enjoys active sports, you could definitely find yourself enjoying a mountain tour, some water tubing or hiking in the beautiful forrest that surrounds out chalet! Historic Artist Settlement:
The Ashewood house is a 4000 square foot private luxury home on 3 1/2 wooded acres in Woodstock's historic artist settlement. Woodstock has long been associated with its long history of art and music and today's Woodstock is still alive with some great art galleries and music. Its spacious floor plan and its own personal view of the Catskills make it a perfect home or retreat from the project where maximum unwinding is a must.
